There's still a bunch of older Wii games that are great to play though. And the Wii can play GC games too?

It's ridiculous that they won't make it for just the plain DS too.

the 3ds runs gamecube-level graphics, while the DS can render hardly above nintendo 64 graphics. to reverse engineer them for the normal DS would be impossible ^_^;

I didn't buy 3ds for the 3d, I mostly bought it for Megaman Legends 3, which they cancelled, and I needed a new DS anyways. I recommend it though, especially blazblue, so addicting.

gamecube graphics? The 3DS has graphics similar to the Wii if not better. And the DS ran n64 graphics just fine, it ran gamecube graphics towards the middle of its life span with no problem.
You're not really giving nintendo enough credit.

I have Blazblue. It isn't that great...and the tutorial is confusing. I hate games that have a code for the attacks. Just tell me what button to press. Y for this...not press the heavy attack button and NOT TELL ME WHAT THE HEAVY ATTACK BUTTON IS! -rages-

I heard there have been more glitches found in the system so I don't dare buy one yet until Nintendo has figured it out.

Yokuutsu 09-18-2011 09:51 PM

I haven't found a glitch yet.

That is because the 3D option is NOT the only new thing about the 3DS.
The 3DS is an entirely new system. The graphics are a lot better than even on the N64. XD They're on about on the same level as the Game Cube was.

It's like saying "I hate that they don't do this for PSOne" when the PS2 games came out. It's annoying if you just bought the old system, but it just wouldn't work on the older system because of the new graphics/features.

Don't forget that you will not get a DS game with 3D effect, you will get an entirely new generation of handheld games (:

There was something about some of them suddenly become, what was the term, "bricks"?

Yokuutsu 09-24-2011 01:03 PM

Bricks? What does that mean?

This brick thing I'm seeing only applies if you have messed with things, like hacked into and stuff. That isn't a glitch. That's them not letting you hack the shit.

The 3DS Terms are a perfect storm of 1) Updates will happen automatically without your specific permission any time the device connects to wifi 2) The device will constantly try to connect to wifi 3) Updates will specifically disable devices found to have modified software or unauthorized peripherals.

Found that on a website somewhere...and that third one was bound to happen....1 and 2 already happened to the Wii. This is nothing new.

Lioshika 09-25-2011 08:27 PM

Oooh. People failed to tell me it was after they HACKED the damn system. I just shut off wifi on my Wii because I try to use little amount of electricity.
