One of the greatest movies ever! It's second on my list below How to Train Your Dragon. I don't normally like fairy-tale movies but this one was just so funny and different. I really wish I could have watched it in the movie theater though, that would have been awesome.

johnny 02-20-2011 10:12 PM

I recently watched Tangled and I thought it was wonderful.

I had to watch it for a comparison between the Brothers Grimm "Rapunzel" and the modern version - Tangled, of course - for my Children's Literature class and I have to say. It was a lot better plotted than the original. xD

Letiel 02-20-2011 11:06 PM

I loved this movie a lot! I thought Disney did a great job

Echo-chan713 02-28-2011 03:31 PM

Disney has it's up and Disney has it downs and Tangled is a Disney up

Madam Kira 03-04-2011 06:46 PM

I really enjoyed that movie, I didn't think that I was going to like it, but it was funny and cute. >.<

Jack Pillow Button 04-25-2011 05:53 AM

I liked it. It was fun. And the songs <3<3 ☆

Taiki 04-26-2011 04:31 PM

I ended up getting the soundtrack. *u* It has an extended version of a song as well a song that wasn't even in the movie.

Echo-chan713 04-26-2011 04:41 PM

It's sad that Tangled is going to be the last Disney Princess movie in a LONG time

Taiki 04-26-2011 05:14 PM

Is it? D:

I really liked Rapunzel. I usually don't like the princesses. xD

Zenella 04-27-2011 04:01 AM

Tangled is one of the best Disney movies I have ever watched. I used to love Disney ALOT but now I'm just...I don't know the word for it.
The first time I watched it, I fell in love with it right away. The songs are amazing and I had no freaking idea Zachary Levi could sing. <333
The animation is absolutely beautiful and the movie is hilarious.
I have watched this over and over again and I'm hoping to get the DVD soon to make it easier to watch it repeatedly :D

Yeah..I REALLY love this movie XD

Claire 06-23-2011 03:50 AM

Tangled was way better than I expected it to be. It made me laugh so many times, and it made me on the edge of crying once or twice. It was really well done. I want to watch it again so badly. xD

Kotetsu 06-24-2011 10:35 AM

I heard Tangled is supposed to be really good!
I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, though, I completely missed it when it was in the theatres.
I guess I will have to rent the DVD when it's out. xP

Lucid: 06-28-2011 09:42 PM

Last night, I saw two Tangled-style lanterns flying away in the sky. *O* it was beautiful and I really want to make lanterns now.

Demo 06-29-2011 12:18 AM

I would absolutely love to cosplay Flynn and get a Rapunzel and do the scene with them on the boat >< Dream photo right there!

Feythfull 07-01-2011 05:57 PM

I thought it was a cute movie and enjoyed it a lot.
the horse was great! though Rapunzel's hair bugged me a bit.

kitkitthecat 09-11-2011 03:50 PM

The movie look very cute and intresting. People shouldn't let the 3D-ness of the movie scary them away.

Wicked 09-11-2011 07:14 PM

That's definitely what I've been doing, Kitty.
I prefer traditional animation but I'm reading so many good thigns about this movie. I'm going to have to watch it aren't I?

Raine Seryn 09-16-2011 08:31 AM

I loved Tangled. I was waiting for a Rapunzel movie from Disney for awhile. I was a bit worried since I read that they made it more of an action movie.. but after seeing it I adore it. :) I'm always a sucker for princess movies though.. and I'm a hardcore Disney fan. I heard it was the last princess movie Disney plans to make.. since kids now-a-days don't like princesses a lot or something.

Wicked 09-18-2011 07:58 PM

That makes no kind of sense, except that they've run out of ideas for princesses. If little ones don't like princesses then why is there SO much merchandise featuring the existing ones? It's not like that stuff isn't being bought and is just sitting on the shelves collecting dust - every little girl I know is covered in Belle stickers and carrying around an Ariel doll.

Lioshika 09-18-2011 09:39 PM

I think I want to watch it. I'm just waiting for it on HBO

I had that same reaction on that scene *0*

It was just gorgeous adding that song, OMG it was just....perfect.

Now I want my date/proposal date to be just like that.

Ginger 09-19-2011 01:33 AM

I saw this movie on Netflix not too long ago and adored it! It turned out better than I thought actually.

I agree on the lanterns.. I think that would be so neat to make a couple =)

Echo-chan713 09-20-2011 12:23 AM

I saw it a couple of hours ago *0* I still love the lantern scene

Ginger 09-20-2011 07:55 PM

I don't think that scene will ever get old <3

Echo-chan713 09-21-2011 01:47 PM

I shall never, 40 years from now and we will still be watching that scene and call it beautiful, and that movie of course

Daring Scylla 10-15-2011 09:32 PM

This movie. Was so. Amazing. I loved Mother Gothel's singing, too, that actress has got a set of pipes.

I like that disney didn't stray away from the songs.

Illusion 10-21-2011 04:56 PM

The movie wasn't bad... To be honest I'd prefer normal Disney art, I will admit it was pretty but the whole 3D animation thing is bleh. Only dreamworks and pixar can pull those kinds of movies out right. Well dreamworks is on and off about it but they have a few good titles.

The movie's songs sucked, no offense. The Princess and the Frog had much better music, this movie.. Well. It looks like the music was just thrown in there.

Overall I'm not impressed but it's still a good movie in a way, I wouldn't mind watching it again if it was on ABC family or something. I would never pay to see it though xD

Kyon 10-26-2011 02:43 AM

Hey this thread is still here! Lol.

I loved Tangled. I think it was a great movie. My step-son adores it. I really loved the art, and I think the story was adorable.

I also liked, in contrast to the Princess and the Frog, that they didn't get married RIGHT AWAY.

Echo-chan713 10-26-2011 01:57 PM

as well as the male isn't a prince from the start, he was a thief so for me it plays on teh bad boy and I totally love that (as well as flynn rider has facial hair, a rarity in Disney XD)

Oh yeah, I totally agree.

Drakath 10-26-2011 09:01 PM

Though i do prefer Disney's hand drawn and older stuff, i did love that movie a lot.
I liked Mother Gothel, like a few others here did, to a extent. she made me think of Frollo in a way, it sort of made me think, okay very much think, of Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is my Fave Disney film.

Delicious Nightmare 10-27-2011 01:21 PM

I loved the movie. I saw it in theaters in 3d and it was my first 3d movie so it s a big event for me. I ended up ducking a lot. My husband laughed at me. But I also own it now and my two kids love it. For being an evil old hag mother gothel took care of her really well. I love her songs and voice. The song mother knows best is my fav.

Wedding Peach 11-11-2011 12:26 AM

I went to go see it on opening day and I enjoyed it, it is one of my favorite Disney movies.

Ishu 11-11-2011 04:04 AM

Excellent movie. It's my "our" movie for myself and my fiance. We're so much like the characters it isn't even funny. ^^

Tiva 11-28-2011 11:18 PM

Tangled was one of those adorable children's movie that filled the niche, they needed another movie to k=come out and it fit the bill perfectly. I love it, as do my nieces and nephews.

Ultima 12-07-2011 04:26 PM

I thought it was very cute and very Disney-ish. The only thing I didn't like (and it's one thing I hate in just about every movie) ... was the singing. I'm not saying no movie can have any singing. But to randomly burst into a musical number in the middle of a conversation? That's irked me about many movies.
I liked what Tarzan (the only example I can think of) did. The songs were in the background. The characters weren't singing all the songs. That's just my opinion of course ^^;;

But overall, I did like Tangled! D8

Alpha 12-08-2011 02:58 PM

Never seen it, although heard nothing but good things about it. I have a feeling Tiva is going to have me watch it with her though.

RedRum 12-10-2011 09:37 PM

I was actually surprised by this film. It was one of many whose trailers gave me the impression that it would be stupid.
But it was actually a very touching and cute story with beautiful music. I fell in love with 'I See the Light', and the king and queen who never gave up on their lost daughter. Such beautifully powerful characters despite that throughout the entire film neither of them ever said a word.

The humor was also quite enjoyable as opposed to the stupidity the trailers had implied.
I enjoyed this film a great deal.

Adagio 03-30-2012 02:09 AM

i really loved this movie XDD it was fun and cute and was a good add on for a new princess Q //Q

SaekoNova 04-09-2012 10:20 PM
