Interesting, ranking systems are neat...*trying to get into this site at last* It seems so...well, not user friendly...

The site's layout isn't up yet, when it's up it might feel more user friendly.

What part for you feels that way?

Sorry, I was supposed to be a Beta tester but I was so confused by the site as a whole, that I was scared away. Apart from by your avatar when you post, how do you know how much aurym you have? How do you earn aurum, these things aren't mentioned in the FAQ. The layout not being up yet makes sense, because the current one just feels...odd.
The shops are very sparcely laid out. an entire page is taken up with blank space between buy this item and the thumbnail, and you have to click twice to preview an item on the avatar. The fact that there are no base facial feature items is disconcerting as well, that everything has to be bought. And that's just what I've thought of just now, my first day actually looking around...

The shops layout page will be changed, either when the full site layout comes or just after.

As for how much aurum, currently it's underneath your avatar, but when the new layout is up, the log out button, aurum count, rune count and all of that will be in a designated area where only you, the user can see.

And yes, everything has to be bought, because if we give you a 'glued' on face with the regular systems you see on other avatar sites you would not be able to layer those features. Like my eyes for instance. I have three pairs of eyes on, but you wouldn't know it due to my layering, however, without that layering, I wouldn't have the dark 'shadow' around my eyes.

Also my hair, is over four kinds of hair, each of which I have layered. This is why the items must be bought. Not only that, but, the items like mouths and eyes cost next to nothing. There is also a newbie set which will be uploaded in the Threads shop for 0 aurum. On top of that, each 'color' of item, comes with between one to five different shades of that color. Allowing for further customization of the avatars.

This website is different from other sites because we're all about customization. Which means more work for us, more fun for the users.

Can I request one as well?

It's undecided at this time. But i'm leaning towards yes. Some of the titles might change and we also might add a couple more.
