I preordered FF 13 but now I'm struggling to throw money together for FF 13-2 >.<
It got 10/10 at Famitsu which just comes to show the game will be better then it's precessor.

After this game all I have to look forward to in gaming is kingdom hearts dream drop distance and 13 versus.

@Ultima: I agree: X-2 was lame. At least gameplay wise. I decided to watch the cutscenes on youtube and to wiki it.

I loved that game! It was a little heavy on the girl power :p and it was definitely a lot lighter on the story, but I wouldn't say it was a bad game at all. It played very intuitively~ I only never finished it because my PS2 died prematurely :(

You know that some of the games were based on "oh look how cute this game is" instead of how good the game quality should be...

Still I cant wait for it to come out next month...

Well considering that it scored a 10/10 from Kotaku magazine I doubt it sucks. The only thing that I know that sucks is the True ending which makes me hope for 13-3 to come out. (If your impatient like me look up the true ending.)

I've watched people play the Japanese version and it looks very fun. I want to play slots, and go Chocobo racing <3

@Illusion: He has good reason to be (and not that Cloud didn't either) but I hope Noel isn't emo enough to get on my nerves as Cloud and Hope did. Eventually for those characters there was a point where I just wanted to slap them and scream.

Haha what I'd yell is a little bit more angry I'm sure. I don't find amusement out of it. I want them to get out out of that pit. I liked a lot of things about Cloud. Even more things I liked about Hope. But I think they may have made some things TOO expressive or exaggerated about the doom and gloom imo. Still where he ACTUALLY tries to kill snow is such a jaw drop moment and one I enjoyed watching unfold. I want to punch that Idiot "Hero" sometimes but he's kinda hard not to like....

True, scores don't tell much. But considering I enjoyed 13 and they scored 13 a lower score while 13-2 got 10/10. Kinda tells me that I will enjoy it highly.

You still haven't beat 13? Well it does take 30-40 hours. WAAAAY longer if you grind and take your time.

And I agree you will most likely be a bit lost in 13-2, I suggest brushing up on your 13 knowledge a bit.

I just got FF13 for $8 and I was disappointed. I can only hope that this one won't be a horror show of bad voice actors and predictable dialogue.

UMmm... I have good news, medium news, and bad news for you then..
The bad news is, that the game will center around the most annoying characters (Minus the new protagonist)
The medium news is that the worst aspect if the game (as said by critics) is that all the music is jpop and jumpy beat songs. I personally love that aspect.

Hey, does anyone know if the summonings are the same in this game, or different, or absent?

THE GAME IS OUT!!!
I've been playing for 5 hours now and this is what I can say..
I haven't seen any summoning yet except for lightning in the beginning of the game. But she doesn't really summon it to begin with.
The game is actually much better then 13. It's not linear anymore, and it's much more entertaining to play.
So far the only problem I have with the game is that the story is very depressing.

I haven't got far, but...WHY MUST THAT FIRST CUTSCENE BE SO LONG! My short attention span almost couldn't take it.

And I can't figure out how to change her outfit (Which if it's what I seen online I don't want to) and where is that Genji Bow D: I want to attack faster D:

The first one isn't a complaint....my attention span is short...that's my problem. The other two...I just don't know about.

The storyline from what I know so far doesn't make me sad, but I only know that the future...the world is pretty much dead? I think? And so...that doesn't depress me. It's the future of any world if people can't get along and stop being stupid as hell.

I've been playing since the game came out, and I can confirm, THERE ARE NO SUMMONS. Just like with FFX-2. Usually, with continuations, Summoning and Eidolons aren't included in the game. Of course, because the L'cie aren't needed anymore, there wouldn't be a need.

The story is a bit depressing, and I'm confused as HELL with the relationship between Serah and Snow. One minute she's telling Noel that she's engaged, and the next, she's describing the teardrop necklace as "Given to her by a good friend. I think I see a love triangle in the making? xD;

I've played with Snow, he's still the same as ever. Hope looks SO much different. xD And I like it.

The gameplay is nice, I like the free roam most of all, because we didn't HAVE that in 13. The Paradigms switch faster now, and you have the ability to tame monsters via crystals, and they fight with you. :3 Sera is kind of badass with her weapon, and I have to say, I love it.

Errrm.. lesse.. Bosses are still fun. I mean, really fun xD; And, uhm, anything else? xDD;

i needs to get money to buy ff13-2 but first i need to beat ff13
