I already know what I'm getting since my mother is completely out of touch with the things I like and asks me to pick out stuff I want ahead of time. >_> Mostly getting clothes and books, a couple pieces of jewelry, some games. My father might surprise me with a couple things, he tends to be better at shopping for me. First year they don't have any "big" gift to get me, I have all the consoles, a new laptop, ipod, etc. I don't have room to display any more swords, either. :(

Honestly, the older I get, the less I like getting gifts from people. I'm more looking forward to giving people gifts than receiving anything.

For celebrating, not much. Just dinner with my dad's family for a couple hours. Tends to be pretty quiet, which I very much prefer.

I put up the tree tonight, as my mother neglected to do it this year. We lost Jesus for our manger thing under the tree (I think my dachshund stole him :p), so my father and I replaced him with a teddy bear. :D

*ducks into other room* yeah, I avoid it unless I am purposefully hanging it over a certain someone's head....and no Echo, unfortunately there will not be in person Christmas love. Although digitally/by text is as close as she and I will get. I don't get to see her until next week.

Aw that's sad I wont get any xmas love as well what about new years love

Now I will be getting that. Couldn't spend Christmas with her, but will get New Years.

ANNNNNNNNNNNND I haven't gotten to open anything yet, but, I did force my mom into opening one of hers.

I got her a giant new tank for her frogs, and, two new ones to go with the one she already had. I swear, that woman lit up brighter than our tree.

Yeah.....I didn't ask my family for anything. They just kinda ran with the fact that I like my car and stuff for it...

I was there for almost everything my mom bought. But this time she wrapped it instead of making me do it.

It was a nice change of pace for me. Usually I know and wrap my own.

I wish I had something better to do today... than lay around trying to get over the flu

though it was a treat when my grandma came over with a dish full of food from the family get together party, right at lunch time, that was the best
