Someone from each already?

Score!

-flaunts Puff goodness-

Honestly, Funk, Gryffindor for you doesn't surprise me in the least. Totally fits. Granted, you are a complicated person and have traits suited for each, but... I always figured you were a Gryff.

Espy, if you're right about those, then that's a really magnificent wand.

Kali_Namir 05-11-2012 12:57 AM

Lols. I've found that that quiz is one of the best. It also shows how close you were to being another house.

Espy 05-11-2012 01:00 AM

....What. I got placed into Slytherin. Into Slytherin?! What sorcery is this?!

-inhales-

I'm usually in Ravenclaw. Just letting you know.

-exhales-

Ultima 05-11-2012 01:02 AM

I've always been Ravenclaw owo

And yeah, I have a Pottermore. It's WildRook(crazyhardtoremembernumber)

I think I got a unicorn core...but I don't remember the length. It was brittle.

Espy 05-11-2012 01:08 AM

Funkie, yeah, I'm not surprised you're a Gryff. I'd expected Gall to be in Slytherin, though.

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:10 AM

Do I really strike you as one, Espy? I mean, it's not that I'm surprised, but I'd never heard someone think so before.

There was always something about brittle wands that I liked...

Ulti! I can't add you without the numbers!

Ultima 05-11-2012 01:14 AM

I know but I don't know the numbers D8 I'd have to switch computers, which I'm to lazy to do right now >w>;

Funkduder 05-11-2012 01:15 AM

I can't really see the use in pottormore after the sorting at and wizard duels...

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:18 AM

It's my go-to for figuring out wands now, and with the movements that would help optimize casting different spells. Oh, and also better ideas for how potions and their ingredients work. All of which is very helpful with all the silly little fan things I amuse myself with.

Espy 05-11-2012 01:21 AM

I can't brew a freaking potion.

Kali_Namir 05-11-2012 01:22 AM

It's supposed to be used as a side note while reading the books. I did the entire first book in one night (re-reading it one chapter at a time as well)...

And Espy, remember, the true sorting hat gives you the choice. Slytherin or Ravenclaw, ultimately, it is up to you?

Espy 05-11-2012 01:24 AM

Does anyone have the pottermore or any decent description of Ravenclaw?

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:30 AM

To be fair, the hat doesn't always listen, either. Longbottom most certainly did not want to be a Gryff... But Rav would suit Espy really well, too.

Ravenclaw, as I'm sure we all know, is wit and intelligence above all else. What this doesn't say is that they're more likely than some other houses we know to do whatever it takes to achieve their own goals. Not that this is all of them - just look at Luna - but it's something to keep in mind, if a Rav has reason to, they will break the rules, and chances are, you won't find out about it. They tend towards creative individuals as well. Ravs with good morals and such are spectacular, and this is the type that I'd think Espy to be.

... I love Harry Potter...

Espy 05-11-2012 01:35 AM

See, I'm caught between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, but I don't care that much about grades, to be honest XD I might stay with Slytherin.

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:42 AM

My friend just gave me the Pottermore for Ravenclaw. Humph! They're so cocky!

Which is a total lie, I know for a fact! But that doesn't bug me, this does:

I'd like to hear what any other houses have to say about my dear Puffs!

Espy 05-11-2012 01:46 AM

Yeah, that's why I have issues with Ravenclaw. Although...Slytherins can be a bit conceited, ahaha.

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 01:46 AM

WHOA. CAN IPLEASE MOVE INTO THIS THREAD?

I'm about to take the quiz, (even though I've already taken sooo many) and then I'll announce what I get this time. ^^

ALSO HOW DOES ONE BECOME THE HEAD OF A HOUSE?!

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:49 AM

Espy, they can both be a little... iffy, but I think you fit Rav better than Slyth, if only for the fact that as long as you meet the general smarts standards, they're much more open-minded.

Pinfeathers! Hello!

I want to find more Puffs~ I love my Puffs.

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 01:53 AM

Hey Gall! :D

I got Hufflepuff!!!
I figured I would, I usually do. :)

Espy 05-11-2012 01:54 AM

Alright, then Ravenclaw it is!

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:56 AM

Yay a Rav!

And YAY! Another Puff! -hugs Pin-

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 01:57 AM

Hey look! I spy an Espy!

/hugs

How are you?

EDIT:
Gall
Yay!
/is hugged

How's it going Gall?

Gallagher 05-11-2012 01:59 AM

Absolutely brilliantly~

Pin, I have to know. Do you know your wand yet?

Espy 05-11-2012 02:01 AM

-half-wondering if wand info should go after people's names-

-waves at Pin-

Guess I'll be a Ravenclaw with...um...sneaky tendencies.

Gallagher 05-11-2012 02:05 AM

Eh heh, that seems like a good idea to me. Maybe Kali should think about it.

The wand tests are so bleh though, I only really trust Pottermore for it.

I'm a little... uh... Most Puffs aren't quite like I am. -grins- But, folks have traits from different houses all the time, Espy. You have a brilliant combination. Mine's just plain weird. Complete opposites.

No, I don't..
/frowns
I know my patronus is an elephant though!
I take pride in that. I don't really know why, but I do. xD

Also, what's your strange personality again?

Espy
^^
A Ravenclaw with sneaky tendencies sounds fun. :P
How have you been?

Kali_Namir 05-11-2012 02:11 AM

If Ravenclaw is your final decision, then Ravenclaw it shall be.

I like the idea of the wand info next to names (even if it kind of promotes pottermore a lot)...

And Pin, as for becoming a Head of House, as I stated in a previous post, those will be the staff that help me to moderate the thread. I'm not too sure when I will end up taking applications, but I'll post it when I do.

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 02:12 AM

Oh okay, cool!

And thanks for the reminder. I need to check Pottermore. xD

Gallagher 05-11-2012 02:17 AM

... Pin wants to be a head? -eyes-

And, I consider Puff/Slyth mix to be strange.

Uh... Could always provide quizzes for the different parts of wands and put it all together? My only issue is that people will mix and match to get what they want, instead of what suits them.

Kali_Namir 05-11-2012 02:21 AM

Yeah. I'm just not sure what to do.

But I've got to go to bed now seeing as how it's almost 2:30am here...

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 02:21 AM

Gall
I may or may not have som sort of an interest in that sort of thing... >///>

And about the wand thing, that would be a bummer. Personally, I can see myself taking the test and then getting SUPER attacted to whatever want matched me. It would be, like, my child. xD

EDIT
Oh, goodnight Kali!

Asami 05-11-2012 02:24 AM

Hey what if you're in pottermore? I'm a ravenclaw.
I so love pottermore
haven't been able to.get in for a while) : no computer

Espy 05-11-2012 02:33 AM

Been fine, if not a bit music-deprived and having/had music withdrawal symptoms XD...

Friday:
Afternoon -- lent my earphones to a friend for over the weekend
Monday:
Morning -- get the earphones back, use my method to listen to music the whole day in class
Afternoon -- one ear fizzles out after school
Tuesday:
Morning: bring my other earphones just in case I get tired of listening with one ear
Afternoon: The other side on my old earphones dies. Alternative is staticky in one ear if I go anywhere near half of max volume
Night: My dad comes back from a business trip; he has his own rarely-used earphones on him
Wednesday:
Morning: I bring my iPod to school ad wear a collared shirt to hide the earphone wires. I forget my dad's earphones at home.
Thursday: I bring my dads earphones to school, still wearing a collared shirt. My iPod falls out of my pocket in my dad's car.

...So yeah. I was seriously, seriously pissed off the past two days.

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 02:40 AM

Oh jeezuz, that really sucks.
I'd be more than irritable as well if that crap happened to me.
I'm always in a not so pleasant mood when I go too long without my music.

On a side note that still partly connects to your post,
I only have one ear, so listening to music with one earbud
if kinda a regular thing for me. xD It's funny because when
I let people listen to me music with me, they'll listen for
just a bit before offering the earbud back, to which my
usual reply is, "Nah, I don't need it.". xD

Espy 05-11-2012 03:15 AM

...Should I ask, or is that way too personal?

Pinfeathers 05-11-2012 10:51 AM

Oh no, it's fine~

Apparently I took a veeeeeeeeeeeery long nap on my right side during the ears development stage, so it never developed fully. My earddrum and inner workings are mostly there, but it's completely closed over on the outside.

hyjin 05-11-2012 10:59 AM

Whoot im still in slytherin house

Espy 05-11-2012 01:04 PM

Yeeargh. That's...strange. Any plans to operate?

Pinfeathers 05-12-2012 01:24 PM

Espy
Nope. We seen a few specialists about it, and they said an operation to open it up and give me a prosthetic ear was possible, but because of how close it was to so e facial nerves there was a possibility that I would lose control of the right side of my face and it would be all droopy and stuff.. And that's more noticeable then a funky ear... XD
