Twigg smiled and responded to the first cat to enter the main entry way. "I'd love a snack, thank you very much!" She replied. She thought for a moment then asked, "What's your name? My name is Twigg."
Upon seeing a new cat enter she turned her head and greeted him with a warm smile. "Are you a guest here as well?" She asked. |
The grayish, while patterned male bowed his head to the new comer in the home. He nodded some, "Yes, yes I am also staying here." His eyes lit up some smile. Hearing Paws say something about the a snack he walked over to get some. I am the manry-est of men! |
"I am known as Paw." She answered the feline. "It is very nice to meet you. We have all sorts of nice things here and I hope you come to enjoy them." |
"Great to meet you, Paw!" She turned to the other cat in the room, "And what's your name?" She asked sweetly, as she took a snack off the tray and began to nibble on it. "This is really good, by the way." She added.

"My name is Nikko, and its nice to see others around, I didn't know of other where going to come or not." he said as he took a few more treats to nibble on. I am the manry-est of men! |
Kali awoke at the sound of the doorbell. "I gotta stop eating mouse before bed," she said to herself with a giggle. She quickly groomed herself in the mirror and went down the hall, stopping only to grab a treat from her surprise closet.
"NIKKO!" She yelled pouncing forward. "HAPPY SECOND DAY AT THE CHAIRTY!!!" she screamed as she tossed the treat to him. "Oh, welcome there new person! I'm Kali! Who are you?" she questioned with a smile. |
The Bobtail moved to catch the item. "Thank you very much Kail." as he smiled some. I am the manry-est of men! |
"We will need to give them both a tour of the place." with a flick of her tail she went to the stairs and sat on the first step. |
"You have a good point Paw," Kali said with a grin as she ran to grab a quick snack from the pantry.

Twigg giggled a little at the new cat's enthusiasm, and answered, "I'm Twigg, what's your name?" She then turned to Paw and said happily, "I've been waiting to hear you say that! I'm itching to explore this place!" Twigg took another snack and began nibbling on it.

"I'm Kali," she said with a smile. "A tour would be good, even I get lost sometimes," she added with a giggle.

"We'll then let us start upstairs and work our way down. That way, buy the time we are finished we will already be at the kitchen for food and refreshments." Paw took a small step before running up the stairs. |
"Awesome! Come on Twigg!" Kali called running up the stairs after Paw.

"Yes, Nikko you too!" Paw calls from the top of the stairs before bounding off to the left. |
Kali glanced back in the direction of the other two as she reached each landing. "Floor Two! Floor Three! And we're here!" she announced pouncing onto the third floor landing.

Paw comes around the corner with a bag of cat nip around her neck. "You can get lost very easily if you don't pay attention so the catnip will lead you back to me. Just follow it's scent." |
Nikko quickly followed trying to keep up with the others. I am the manry-est of men! |
"These here are all bedrooms. They have a personal Litter Box and one of those Cat Genie Cat Toilets. You can use which ever you prefer. There is a human that tends to come around every night to clean the boxes. Each floor also has a grooming flat. A room with all things needed for clean shining fur, sharp claws and relaxed muscles." Paw announced as they walked passed the rooms. |
"Trust me, the grooming flat is a saving grace some mornings." Kali added with a grin following after Paw quickly.

Paw passed a gigantic window door that lead out onto a balcony and stopped at a smaller door. "This door here leads to the balcony. It is a lot easier to open then the heavy glass doors. Just put your paw under this thing, push up and squeeze through" She demonstrated on how to use the odd little door. |
Nikko followed behind then looking around yawning some taking everything in, it was so very much different from what he could remember from his home long ago. "This is a lot for me to take in." I am the manry-est of men! |
"It's also a lot to remember too. But I'm sure we won't get lost." Paw nudged Nikko's head with her own as if she were saying, 'You're safe here.' |
Closing an eye the gray white cat nodded some. "I am glad I would be worried if I did, I am not very good about finding places. I have to travel to it a few times before I can really remember." he smiled some. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Well no need to worry Nikko! You can walk the halls anytime you want!" Kali said with a grin as she followed behind.

"That is another good thing, so many rooms its crazy and many new kittes who are nice this is just so niffty" he said still looking around. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Yeah, I hope we get quite a few new kitties! We've currently got many empty rooms." Kali said looking to all the empty rooms.

"One day this place will be full of cats and we'll have many friends. One day.." Paw drifted off into her own little day dream and ended up bumping into a hall table. |
"Paw, you may wanna watch where you're walking," Kali said through her giggles. "OH, I hate to be the barer of bad news, but I believe it is once a month that the human who cleans the liter boxes gives flea baths. While they aren't quite pleasant, it's necessary," she added with a bit of a frown. "The room to the right is where one must report for these dreadful things, but the rub down and fluffy towels make it a bit more comfortable," Kali said.

"As are the kitty massages afterward." Paw purred in delight thinking about it. |
With a slight snort, Ciaran nudged open the door to a mansion. He could smell cats, so maybe someone in here would take pity on him if he played the whole poor-kitty-who-got-into-a-fight deal, but the truth was, having to fend off four or fight lean alley cats for breakfast hadn't gone over so well. His matted and grimy fur, plus his blood-crusted paws, didn't make him any less of an eyesore.
He stepped into the mansion and immediately felt rather guilty of trailing dust onto the pristine floor. ...The owner might get mad at me...and it's not as if I really do need help... He turned around and took a single step before tripping and sprawling over the cool tiles. |
Paw heard the sound of bell's ring through the mansion and turned around. "Kali, can you finish the tour? I'll catch up with the new kitty!" She then dashed off around corners and down the stairs to the door. "Welcome new comer!" The grey feline stopped in her stride as she saw the injured cat. "Oh my! Please follow me fast! Lets get that fur cleaned up and those wounds of yours tended to before the get infected." |
"Sure," Kali said as she lead the others down the hall. Turning to the Kitty's behind her, she put on her best tour guide voice and continued the tour. "Here we have the back stairs, we'll take them to the second floor and continue from there."

Ciaran groaned and got up, aching all over. "If you mean a bath by that, I'd rather be back outside," he muttered, catching up quickly to the gray cat in his normal pace.

"Nonsense. It's not as bad as it seems. Unlike where humans throw us in water and scrub, we just walk through this thing that is similar to those things that wash the loud metal boxes humans use to get around. It's very gentle and warm, and you hardly feel wet. It's the best way to clean up before getting those wounds looked at." She smiled as she lead him to the Hospital Room. |
Ciaran's ear twitched in annoyance. "...I suppose." Rainwater in the gutters was all he usually got to wash with, besides the occasional grooming, so he would have to give this a try. At the very least, his fur wouldn't feel so...heavy.

Pushing open the door, she lead him to the Cat Wash. "Go on in and I'll start it up." She gave him a small kitty smile and walked to the other side of the wash. |
Grimacing, Ciaran padded cautiously to the center of the...thing...and waited for the strange gray-and-purple cat to do whatever it is she was going to do.

"Here we go!" She presses a button which started a light warm spray at the beginning. A row of soft bristles, that look as though tons of soft cat brushes were pulled apart and added to the machine, foamed with a non-scented shampoo. The end had a bit more of a heavier spray with a hair drying part with the finisher. |
Ciaran suppressed an angry screech as he tensed up. What...what is this madness? He supposed it was better than the shocking cold of gutter water, but...
Still. This is strange. The whirring died down, and he stepped out, looking rather sheepish with newly fluffed-up fur. |
"Ah your coat looks a lot better. This way! Lets get those wounds looked at then we'll get you some food and a bedroom to rest up in." Paw moved over to a low table and sat next to it. |
