so how are the gifts physically /given/ to the receivers, are they limited to local gods(local to them or their culture)? how much of the god's power is given(is it full or watered) if we want a god who is near to identical to another god(jesus and horus are the same dude and so was neptune and posideon) would we get the powers they share, the powers that only the god you pick has or can you use powers from the other god? does the receiver have to /know/ they have this power and does the god that gave it have the ability to take it away? does the receiver have to learn how to use their gifts or do they know them already without practice or knowledge of it? also for how long can the receiver have the power?

are they limited to local gods. No, Any and all gods are allowed as long as they are Actual gods no made ups please.

how much of the god's power is given.Well, its not all of the power but Demi-gods will tend to have a more stronger connection to there power than WoD's (Warriors of the deity) Simply because they were born with it and have had more time to deal with it.

I do believe I had brought up the thing about the Roman/Greek Gods being the same earlier cause Jupiter/Zeus is the same God.. {my knowledge in Roman/Greek myths might be rusty but I think I do remember the basics involving their Gods, same with Egyptian. It's the Norse Gods I don't have know much about, the only exception being Loki whom I believe is Norse.. he might not be..} just the Romans prefer to him under a different name.

And yes.. there should be a power cap or the person has one or two abilities.. esp. for people who are blessed by the more darker Gods {Loki/Anubis/Hades or Pluto} could be more tempted to abuse the powers they are given, depending on how corrupted the person's soul is or what their intentions for those powers are..

And I honestly thought in a way, they were all born with them.. or at least.. Noelle was born with the ability of being able to judge and steal/take souls.. if that is okay, Natsu.. I could change my thinking on that and cause Hades can be cruel, Noelle entered a contract with him to get those powers for her revenge in exchange that Hades could have her soul after she takes her revenge.. < . <;

And I guess how long they have the power depends on which God they are bless by and why they received those powers or what they use the power for? I'm just doing a guess, it's really up to Natsu since this is his roleplay..

Sorry, about the lame answers i was half asleep and had to retyped them, i agree with all that tor says, Warriors of Deity are Humans that where gifted the powers of gods long after there birth. Example, Medusa wasn't always the way she is intact she was a priestess for Athena, and if i remember my myth correctly she was raped by poseidon. Athena, Did not take kindly in her losing her pureness to Athena(virginity) and turned her to Medusa. That is an example of a gifted power/curse.

The one thing i do not agree on thought is all the characters are required to be born with there powers, i would like to see some cool story lines on things humans did to deserve there newly found powers. Not saying anyone has to be a WoD though.

Well, I have always been more into the old era role play. Simply because in person I am in love with the idea of Close quarter war, Swords, shields bows.. It just gives me happiness for some odd reason, Maybe I was born in the wrong time era. :3

I used to always make medieval/fantasy characters, and only relatively recently have I started making characters that fit...uh...into the era of modern weaponry.

Weaknesses: Close combat of any form, large thunderstorms, and earthquakes.
Strengths: Long range combat, specifically with a bow and arrow or sling shot.
Personality: Bubbly and happy go luck, although she is easily distracted by many things. Most of the time she seems quite dense until she's around a large body of water, which seems to clear her mind and allow her to focus.
Biography: From the farthest back she can recall with clarity, Mairi has been with Lucien and Regina, although she does know that there was a life before the traveling. At the age of eight, she lost what family she remembers when her village was pillaged.
Extra info: She is not aware of the abilities that she possesses. Even if Lucien were to try and explain that she causes the earthquakes, she's to stubborn to believe him.

Ofcourse, there is honestly i think if someone gets hurt it should show through the RP. I don't like it when people get hurt in a battle then instantly go into another one with no issues. So lets say.. Small scratches don't have any repercussions. But, gashes and other big issues must be be weaknesses in battle. Example. If someone slashes my leg open, in one battle the next battle i would have trouble with that leg. i will limit the healing process to one battle. Other wise, One battle after the original wound was created you can consider it healed or healing, If that make sense.

my char takes his power from a semi/titan whose weakness is that when lifted from the earth is a normal man, would his weakness be mine as well and is it the same for others?
