When I first put glasses on everything was so sharp. Trees looked pointy and scary, and I could actually notice a significant difference in HD television. Before I was like 'BUT IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME! What a waste of money!' haha.

Oh man. I've been in the same pair of contacts for like 6 months now. They're sposed to only be 2 eek disposables but I has no money or insurance for new ones at the moment. x_x;
And glasses.. I just can't stand glasses. |
Yes contacts are spendy... 6 months isn't good ;w; You are risking eye infection.

Yes they are. Especially when you are laying down trying to watch television. And sometimes you can't see through the top rim of them. They also get dirty easily. Well.. just a couple of problems I have with them anyway.

Eh. I make sure to keep them clean, but I do sleep in them as well. I've never gotten an infection of all my years wearing them so I hope my streak doesn't end soon. xD *knock on wood*
As for the glasses, I can't afford much as said earlier. The actual eye exams get me. I went to a Walmart doctor, lol, and regretted it. He gave me the completely wrong prescription and refused to change it. So, the one pair of glasses my moms insurance covers was wasted on a pair that I can't use or exchange. |
That's bull, actually. Should have given you a refund for that. Do you still have proof you saw that particular doctor? You can threaten to sue if he refuses to give you the right prescription. He might put his tail between his legs and you will be able to get the right prescription.

It was bull. We would have tried but unfortunately we're just a tiny little family compared to the Walmart corp. xD
After about a week of him telling me "I can't change it just yet you must wait a few weeks to get accustomed." I just gave up and went back to my contacts. |

Some older lady sued Walmart for charging her 2 cents over on an item, and she got over $100 back haha. WORTH IT! xD
I'm sure the person who gave you the wrong prescription will at least be hurting for another job if you speak up. It's his job to provide accurate prescriptions. Maybe he works at the Walmart vision center for a reason >.> |
