Well, it won't stop bleeding; everytime I stop applying pressure, it kind of...splits?...and start bleeding again.

okay, get some peroxide if you have it, get it on there, and put a bandaid or bandage with a pad on it, wrapped very tight

I split mine open like that a while back and it did that.
