I don't think it is as much "I don't want you to have anything on your walls" as "I don't want to help you put anything on your walls". Also, she is obsessed with the fact that walls can never be spackled and repainted if I were to rearrange my room or what have you. If I have to I will put it all up while she is at work or whatever. My walls are so plain and I need something up, and what better than to put the amazing things you send me up where I can see them and touch them since they will not be sitting in my closet or downstairs hiding it all from my mom and etc.
