Also, I don't mind Christmas*. But it needs to wait 'til at least Black Friday to start being mentioned, imo. I don't play Christmas music until then. And I've felt that way for a long time, even before I worked retail.




*Most years, I get to spend Christmas out in California with my boyfriend and his family, who are really awesome and welcoming people. So that helps a lot. lol

den is lucky. i used to work retail and because i had no family obligations i was able to take those shifts. it really tires you out on xmas when you only get the crummiest parts of it. last year was the first year i was able to be alright with it happening(took almost 5 years to heal mentally, yuck)
