"You popped up on Google, you're part of the free tour." Chester offered. "I didn't want to play your efforts down with that information."
He put an arm around Nate's shoulder and pulled him a little closer. |
"Eh, not surprised," Nate said, shrugging. He then leaned into Chester's touch. "Those photos were absolute crap, anyways. And I photo shopped them to make my face look different. High contrast and the liquefy tool make for an entirely new Nate!"
"I could tell the difference, I knew you'd worked on it." Chester smiled. "I have an eye for natural beauty."
"You're kind of a creeper," Nate pointed out, though he was smiling.
"But only for you...surprisingly." Chester laughed as he turned to Nate- his hands falling on the smaller boy's hips. "...We can cut the party if you like...maybe hit the shops and buy you that pair of pants?"
"That sounds-" Nate started to say when they heard a crash inside and he frowned, looking toward the sound.
"Damn it, is it another brawl?" Chester leaned over the rail and peered into the crowd.
Nate groaned as he spotted a head of red hair amongst the gathering crowd. "I'll be right back..."
He slipped away from Chester and headed inside, taking the stairs and going into the mass of people. Slinking in between them as if they were nothing but air, Nate eventually caught up with the redhead he'd been looking for. "Mail!" |
"Hey there." Mail smiled pleasantly. "Where you been hidin'?"
Glancing over at where the crowd was gathering, only to see that someone had smashed a vase by accident, Nate sighed. "You're not here to crash this party, are you?"
"Of course not." Mail replied- giving a devious smile. "Your other boyfriend know I'm here yet?"
"What do you mean, my 'other' boyfriend?" Nate groaned. He grabbed Mail's arm and started tugging him upstairs.
"Hey, there he is!" Missy hissed to her brother, pointing to the albino boy as he headed up the stairs. |
"With that moron!" Mihael breathed hotly before storming off.
"Oh dear, I guess this party was short-lived." Lawliet sighed. "Oh, taking me up to the suite already?" Mail laughed. |
"Trying to get out of the crowd," Nate said. "I can't stand being in them..."
"We could go someplace to be alone." Mail offered.
"I don't care where we go, so long as we're away from these people," Nate groaned, feeling his chest constrict a little as he fought to get air.
