During the very first contest, Fenris said that if you designed one that would be better as a DI she'd ask you if you were okay with it being a DI (it would mean you wait quite a bit longer to get the item). so it's possible they could be DIs, it just depends on what the item would be better as. I don't know what the sushi hats will be, and I don't think Fen does right now either. I'm fairly certain that my tropical feathers and wedding veil will be commons though.

I think I joined on the day of or after that contested ended lol. I was like "nuuuu!" The only item contest I have ever been on time for was the Gaia one like 2-3 years ago and even then my idea was laaaame. >_<

I only entered one item contest on gaia and got into the top three that were made.....barely x'D;;;

That's still quite an achievement, no doubt so many ideas were submitted that yours got put in the finalist list is good! :3

But some of the poorly drawn ones even made it to the end. Good ideas still make it through 83

I think I just managed to submit during one of the more difficult categories, so there probably wasn't as many submissions. Though I'm happy. Item designing is luffs, so I'm working with another avi site on their designs.
