One you win more on or one you win less on.

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:20 PM

I quite like the penny falls machines, but I think they're probably just as much as a con as the crane machines. I've not really been to overly many arcades though. I have always wanted to go and spend like a whole day in one though, like you see on TV. Though now I'm probably at the age where it's weird to do that haha.

Potironette 12-20-2015 06:21 PM

Owls are cute :3 Even when they swivel 360 degrees

Hrm, so I guess "loose" for "loose wallet" or "I can afford to lose some money" and "tight" for "this machine is a tightwad for me"

I like penny falls machines too! I don't really care what I get for them xD. Everything's a keepsake.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:24 PM

I have never been to a casino before. It's on my list of things to do.

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:24 PM

is it the kind of machine where you put in a coin and it can push other coins over the edge? If you see one of those on a ship just wait nearby and hope for waves.

Gallagher 12-20-2015 06:24 PM

man, this conversation moves fast.

god bless ctrl+f. no one's said the word yet!

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:28 PM

Yeah that's a penny falls machine! I've never been to a casino before either. I've always wanted to go to one though. I just want to do like a wild hangover-esque weekend in Vegas. Though my flatmates and I were looking up suite prioces in Ceaser's Palace or whatever it's called and it was like $39K a night, so even for a cheap Vegas getaway we need to do some serious saving haha.

Den 12-20-2015 06:28 PM

lol well, we're very active on the weekends, Galla. It's to be expected, especially with the influx of new members we've been getting lately.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:29 PM

Wow, I did not know a hotel room could go for so much! O.O

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:31 PM

I know it's insane! To be fair the suite was basically like a small apartment, but still that's per night. The cheapest suites were still 1K which I thought was insane! I do still really fancy going to Vegas, but I need to lower my expectations a lot haha.

Den 12-20-2015 06:32 PM

Depends on where you go, really. I've flown over Vegas on my way to and from a convention before... it was neat flying over the Hoover Dam.

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:32 PM

You should just go somewhere else instead. Like someplace in europe or asia.
Like Paris, Budapest or Brussel.

Awen Moonshine 12-20-2015 06:33 PM

We are finally home! It's my partners birthday tomorrow, so I won't be around much, but after that I can participate more ^_^

A D20 dice bag is exactly as it says on the tim, it's a 20-sided dice shaped bag for putting gaming dice in (or anything else for that matter)

I love the coin pusher machines <3 I have a mild addiction to them though ^_^;; (I rinse them of prizes)

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:34 PM

Don't worry! If you win big at the casino, your room should be covered and then some! 8D

Den 12-20-2015 06:34 PM

It's on my bucket list to trace my family's heritage over in Europe. We've got German, Irish, Swedish, English, and Scottish roots, so I imagine I'll be on a boat a few times, and a train a great deal of time. I'm also planning on terrorizing my friend who lives in England for a bit on that trip, too.

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:35 PM

Since the odds are always stacked in the houses favor the odds of you win big is low.

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:36 PM

I've already been to Paris before and I have to say I wasn't really a massive fan. Some of the architecture there was stunning, but I feel in general it's not a very nice city. If I were to go back to France I'd probably go elsewhere. There's loads of places in Europe that I want to travel to too. Vegas is just one of those tacky weekend break things that I've always fancied.

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:38 PM

Tacky and expensive is both descriptions for it so is it really worth it?

Den 12-20-2015 06:40 PM

It's a good bucket list item, imo.

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:40 PM

It depends on how you look at it I guess. I mean of course there are other places in the world that have more to offer in terms of culture and it being cost effective. But at the same time, Vegas is just meant to be a fun thing. Plus it's on my bucket list so I would argue that it's worth it purely for the memories that I'd be making. At this rate I'll be forty by the time I get to go though haha.

Den 12-20-2015 06:42 PM

Hey, Galla, has anyone gotten close to guessing the word this time?

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:42 PM

What is a bucket list anyway?

Quirk 12-20-2015 06:43 PM

Hey guys, I need to head off and get some things done at the moment. Though I'll be back later on :)

Gallagher 12-20-2015 06:46 PM

Uhm... No, no one's really gotten close to the word. I don't have an easy way to hint at it, either. So let's go for vague relation. The closest word was list.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:48 PM

Well, this is going to be hard.

We're screwed. XD

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:51 PM

:f-santa: He's making a list,
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town :f-santa:

Gallagher 12-20-2015 06:52 PM

Nah, it's an every day object, not an abstract concept.

LOL Myst!

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:53 PM

How about parchment paper? That's what you write your list on, right?

Monorea 12-20-2015 06:53 PM

Am i not allowed to sing?

Den 12-20-2015 06:54 PM

I sometimes write lists in a notebook.

Potironette 12-20-2015 06:56 PM

Vague relation, an item. Uhh: paper, loose-leaf, notebook, shopping?

20 sided dice bags sound really interesting! I wonder if they had other shapes too.

I've been to Vegas once. It was summer though, so every place was either too hot or too cold.

Den 12-20-2015 06:57 PM

I also seem to have collected a lot of notepads over the years... >.>

Fulkth 12-20-2015 06:57 PM

@mist

you did good!

I especially like those kitty emotes!

CONGRATS!

And you did some good thinking, too, Potironette, but you weren't quick enough!

Den 12-20-2015 06:58 PM

lol I really like this game, Galla.

Potironette 12-20-2015 06:59 PM

XD I'm glad it's that word though. Couldn't help but think of paper after the song.

Gallagher 12-20-2015 07:00 PM

yeah, i'm glad i came up with this one. it's a lot of fun! We're about halfway down my list, then I need to add new words and randomize all over again.

Fulkth 12-20-2015 07:01 PM

Yay guys! I'm a winner! Winning always boosts my self-esteem up!

Now I am bigger than life! XD

You might end up doing that a few times, especially with as fast as this topic goes.
