I'm level 18 I think..
I just haven't had enough focus for the game.

Maybe when I go out and take pictures of stuff I will.. maybe.

We have one down the road from us, but nothing great has ever spawned there. It's usually at the grocery store or down the road from us. It's great for people who can walk outside and hit 20 stops on their block, not so much for smaller areas.

It's hard to level up if you're not in the middle of a city or a university, I think. :P

My sister hit 23, but I'm always checking it and catching like crazy. Though time between level ups are taking a lot longer now.

I really hate the region exclusive Pokemon. Those really ruin the idea of collecting them all for me whether you pay to play or just walk around and do it in your free time. Unless you're a traveling businessperson or something akin to that, you won't really get the whole dex. I also hear the birds are going to be exclusive to the teams, rumor, so treat with skepticism.

Given how the game works, "region exclusives" would make a lot more sense if a "region" was smaller, so, like, water pokemon are near water, etc. Should be able to find everything within like an hour drive. Other continents seems like a terrible idea.

Yes, exactly. You keep hearing whispers of trades coming, and my sister has hoarded Tauros in case it does come, but we've seen nothing.

I do wish they were all in an hour or so radius, depending on where you live. Wooded areas for grass types, lakes, ponds, and beaches for water, electric types near electric companies or power plants or even factories, or even if you just get them from eggs, all should be in the eggs, with the exception of legendary.

But hey, on the lighter side of things, we hatched a Porygon last night.

Wow, that's insane! I hit the 200 Flying Type today, I don't really pay attention to the achievements, even though I usually love them.

So, just me having the issue where the game doesn't seem to want to connect? Loads but can't pick up a GPS signal.

I haven't seen Pokémon in a few days on the app (plus it's raining so... no desire to go outside).. I haven't played in a while because of that ouo

No GPS problems for us, just issues with PokeStops and last night we had an issue with it saying it was unable to find her account, but she got back in.

My husbands account got wiped because of the earlier bug that kicked people off and started them over. He was at level 7 and playing with me whenever we went out. Then he got discouraged and deleted the game because his progress was gone.

looks like they added a pokestop in my town.. but i'll be moving elsewhere next month.. and i dunno if there are pokestops near there -o-

I'm up to lvl 15, but I don't really do anything to advance other than turn it on during a morning walk and catch a thing or two...so I could probably live with starting over, but it would be uncool.



Around here, at least, there's piles of pokestops where ever there are lots of shops, or a University.

It was saying something like it could not validate her account, she logged out, logged in with her gmail, it restarted her, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but eventually she was able to log back in and had not lost anything. I don't know if it was an issue on Niantic's end or ours, because my tablet was being buggy at the same time and it was storming pretty badly. Either way she's just glad to get back in and have everything.

Yeah, agree with you on the Magikarp. Pikachu we don't have much trouble with, he'll pop up occasionally. Just need one more for a Raichu. And finally saw Shellder for the first time in months, so we have a Cloyster now.

I think, especially in a small town with stops few and far between, the only approach we can take now is a relaxed one, and hope we didn't miss a Snorlax or Lapras or something because we didn't go in the right direction.

Had to post. Still panting right now but this was great.

Last night my sister got mad at me, because I happened to look at the Sightings and say "There's a Snorlax nearby!" right as it popped up. She's mad they like me, she's sighted five but never actually found them.

But just now she asked if it was OK to run to the helicopter. She showed me Lickitung's silhouette and off we went. I got my favorite little pink Pokemon now!

Woo, Lickitung! Fun times.

I'm still so happy, Lickitung's my favorite from the first generation. And it really helped the egg!

Good luck with it :) Seems like the water types like your place! Nice on the Electabuzz too. We've just got the one, came from an egg. I only just within the past few weeks realized the electric company is not far from our house, and we're stupid for not looking for electric types around it.

All the electric we have, other than Pikachu and the Raichu I evolved, have been from eggs. We're finally starting to see ones in the wild we haven't before, so I figure eventually they'll come up.

We need a "battle with the best of them" Squirtle. Working on Charmeleon, have two Ivysaurs now that can, but Squirtle's being a bit of a jerk.

I haven't encountered any charmanders yet... only squirtle, bulbasaut, and ivysaur.
