Why during NaNo?

so i'm a pantser, and i write by the seat of my pants, with pretty much a vague, gesturing off in the distance, kinda plan of where my story is going.

let's say i have four different short items i'm working on. which one today? roll a d4. got like a 2. so i invented something, how well did that work? i didn't have to roll, but it was certainly higher than a 2. XD

in last year's story, my characters were trying to unblock a tributary river. was it going to work with manual labor? roll a d20.

also saw an idea, what month are we in? roll a d12. same for time of day.

Huh, that's an interesting way to write.

I actually only started it with last year's NaNo

10/10 for colorful hair and 10000/10 for smile!!!
