.......Assesment to work at MCDONALD'S?!!!

CRAY.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 05:54 PM

Seriously. -_- I hope I hear back from that food place where I applied for cake decorating. Ugh do not want this

Red Lion 03-20-2013 05:58 PM

Let's hope,

still kinda silly they want a big assessment for McDonald's WFT.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:00 PM

Seriously. Because now you have to be Jesus to flip burgers.

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:02 PM

That's racist against all non-Jesus people.

It's discrimination against mortals!

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:06 PM

Yes, and you can bet it's made finding a job in difficult economy twice as hard!

Ernya added a block ("blacklist") feature.

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:21 PM

Uuugh, stupid economy.

...Somehow I don't see the whole Block/Blacklist thing eliminating the drama on that site.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:25 PM

Somehow. I just don't see why they would spend time and money on a feature like that when people could just learn to ignore it. If the other person isn't breaking the rules, then tough titty you don't have to talk to them. If they are, then you report it and that's that.

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:29 PM

The blacklist also won't work for these forums

Quote:

This is with the exception of the following forums: Feedback, Support, Bugs, Ernya Community Discussion, General Discussion and its subforums.
So high drama areas will not be affected by the blacklist.

You can stop people from PMing you or commenting on your profile with the block feature but you could report people to mods anyway if they bothered you that way. So really the blacklist will only work in the BS, the Exchange, the Hangouts and the Entertainment forums.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:31 PM

yes, I saw that... Is there some overload of drama in the BS and the Exchange that I'm not aware of?

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:35 PM

Well there are very few threads in the exchange that don't have blacklists of people they won't sell to. But in the BS? I see no point.

Kinda puzzled that money went to this feature and not into fixing the lag or updating the commons. The commons haven't been updated since last summer, I think, and that update was barely an update.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:39 PM

And I'm pretty sure we can forget about ever getting more body settings updates again. Now that Ernya knows how popular those are, you can bet they'll only be coming in the forms of limited and DI...

I just see no point in this feature at all. I'd be telling people to suck it up.

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:43 PM

You know, there are more limited and DI hairs than there are body setting hairs, kinda makes me think Ernya should just go ahead and have a body settings shop like most other sites do, that way the userbase can at least have some decent hair/eye/skin options available if not for free then for site currency. BTW, that would also make a good gold sink. Ernya is so bent on this "Get excess gold out of the system" why doesn't she give us something to spend gold on? Like a commons update or a new shop? That would increase the value of gold and bring the exchange prices down. If Ernya people get commons that they actually would want to use they'd be more enticed to spend their extra gold.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:46 PM

Pfft. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one; it would take effort.

Red Lion 03-20-2013 06:50 PM

But it's so simple, have seasonal or rotating shop items that are worth having, or hell even just really decent commons and excess gold will be a lot less of a problem, the value of gold will go up and inflation will be controlled.

uncledaddy 03-20-2013 06:52 PM

Newp. Periodical gold sinks in the form of exclusive items!
