I'm really starting to learn towards Froakie now... Frogs have always been my favorite animal, but I was always torn between Froakie and Fennekin because of Fennekin's beauty, but now seeing that Fennekin is becoming too feminine for my tastes (I was hoping for a more Ninetails like look) Froakie and his awesome evolution stands out more and more.

And then there's chespin... He's cute I'll give him that, but now he looks like a chubby cute thing that I can't care for. I have a feeling he's going to become the cool tough football playing looking monster soon sort of like Tepig's evolution to Emboar.

So with the new evolutions of the starters I'm starting to lean toward the Froakie side, and hate frogs irl lol. But so far it's starting to look the coolest. Also, new fossil pokemon, I want me a Tyrunt! Can't wait to see it's evolution.

It makes me feel old, but I am honestly not too impressed with anything X/Y I've seen so far. I was hesitant about Gen. V after dealing with Gen. IV, but I'm just plain not impressed so far with Gen. VI. I've talked with my other friends who like Pokemon, and it's clearly just me. I might not get it at launch and wait for some reviews.

There are so many things to by hyped about, I find it weird that anyone who is a Pokemon fan not be impressed. Just look at the list:

There is even more to list! That's a lot of good changes and added features for one Pokemon game, this is the biggest Pokemon game will receive since ever. Black and White didn't really have this kind of hype. Don't let the genwunner disease effect you, this game is going to be awesome!

I feel like they're overdoing the Generation VI release with all these updates in order to keep up with all the latest technological advances and quite frankly – it's pissing me off. :/

They need to take a step back and do some of them in like Generation VII or even later.

I took me until B2/W2 to get used to the 2.5D, so I assume it will take me a bit for 3D.

Maybe I'm just too easy to please? We just got fully animated and visible back sprites. I was happy just to get those after so long.

Customizable Avatars (FINALLY)

I was happy with the default appearance of every hero so far, but we'll see how customizable it is when we get to play it.

Mega Evolutions

This is petty, but I still think Digimon did mega evolutions better. xD /digimon fan

No spoilers so fans can still be surprised when the games release.

I like having information readily available to me, so this can also be a drawback. I'm a guide fanboy, though, which most gamers are not.

The new Pokemon in general

This is the point that most irritates me: I haven't seen more than a handful of pokemon that I like so far, and my bf has shown me every Coro Coro and Nintendo direct video.

I don't care how large the over world is, but rather how much decent plot is put into it. So far the evil team seems the same as a combination of other teams.

Dislike fairy completely. I would have prefered any other name.

Actually, I'm not a genwunner at all; I prefer gen. 3 and Hoenn. I just am so meh on some of the additions and think that they are a waste of time, but obviously some people are really excited for them. I'm not saying that I will hate the game, but I don't think I'll pre-order or get it on day one.
