-finds his profile-

Hum... Without getting into lengthy explanations, yes, his case is completely fixable, especially in this universe.

Indestructoman! All shields and armor. Big, bulky human with strong psychic defenses and aracane knowledge.
Just throwing the idea out there.
On a serious note, just run it by someone here who knows what they are doing (not me)

Quiet Man Cometh 11-05-2013 10:07 PM

Who says knowing what you are doing is a requirement? Part of roleplay is making things up as you go along, to a point. ;)

Psy-chick maketh things go boom!

And a deer skull. I want a deer skull.

*cracks knuckles*

First fight of the new game. Have at it people. :|

UHHHH. -grabby hands at- LAWTAN KNOWS WHY.

Lawtan 11-05-2013 10:15 PM

*Pats Espy's hand* I know.
May I interest you in some courtly multilingual rock/metal, good sir?
(Just remembered my parents have an actual skull from something like a deer)

Quiet Man Cometh 11-05-2013 10:22 PM

I've got an antler. I've yet to figure out how to get it from where it is to where I am since I doubt they would let me take it on a plane and it would probably puncture my suitcase. My grandfather has a bison skull tacked to a tree with a note that trespassers would be shot. My sister also used to be a taxidermist. She's got lots of fun things. ;)

Lawtan 11-05-2013 10:24 PM

Wow. I am a tad envious.

Quiet Man Cometh 11-05-2013 10:31 PM

There's a section of her fridge dubbed "the morgue" where she keeps the birds that she's found dead. It's neat to look at them.

Okay...ironing out character details. Not too complicated: lights you on fire then throws a car in your face. Doesn't know which end of a pistol not to look down, however.

Lawtan 11-05-2013 10:36 PM

Hmm...Have you looked at Arikana's character?
Also, umm...would light on fire be considered magic? (Was told no magic. No lasers)

I think you read what I said backwards. :P

There's no energy weapons wrought from pure technology, but there are lasers and such powered by magic.

Lawtan 11-05-2013 10:45 PM

Oh...
*Needs new eyes*

Lawtan 11-05-2013 10:48 PM

May need to figure out the magic mechanic then.
(May have gotten that from the "realism" bit...or because another person who I was talking to was saying how they hate to mix Tech and Magic)

Suzerain of Sheol 11-05-2013 10:50 PM

If I ever use the word "realism" it is, almost always, referring to actions having natural consequences in a fictional universe. Just for future reference. :)

Gallagher 11-05-2013 10:50 PM

This universe's tech jumped when psychic/spiritual(magic) abilities started happening to everyone and their dogs.

Not literally their dogs. That's just silly.

So if you want to use all the fancy tech, it's a good idea to have a reasonable baseline of spiritual and/or psychic presence. A lot of the tech will be workable for a not-very-magical-special character (I believe), but would just be lacking that extra pour source for the cool abilities.

Like. I mean. There are still computers and tanks and shit. It's just keyed into a new sort of battery.

I say, oversimplifying absolutely everything and probably getting it wrong.
