Tsukiko Skype is the problem atm…. it broke and crashed on me 6 times today alone. And it crashed on Toho too

Only way I use Skype anymore is on my phone. Laptop can't support it... but I use a chat program/organization program/app called BAND for my Transformers game stuff... It's pretty user-friendly, and you don't have to download anything to use it. I use it mostly on my dinosaur laptop, because it doesn't make it complain, and it's super secure. You can share files on it, too.

Skype doesn't work for me anyway because WiFi screens like the one the college WiFi has mess it up
Kind of making do with WhatsApp and Discord instead but I WANT VIDEO TOO DAMMIT and I don't have the mobile data to video chat with WhatsApp

I honestly haven't done any video chat stuff in over 6 years. And back then I used Skype and had an internet connection and a good laptop.
Now I use Line with a couple friends and that's it. But not for video chatting (although it does have a video call option), just text chatting.

I don't trust Line. it's too unsecure. same with KiK. Band, on the other hand, is so secure that the development team for my game use it to keep in touch with each other and with the VIP players.

I honestly don't have many people I chat with.
I talk with 2 friends on Line and really only because it's the only one that the one friend will use. So it's more convenient to use that than to have separate chat apps for each of them.
The absolute lack of people I talk to would probably baffle any "normal/average" person.

pfft. I don't really talk to a lot of people on a daily basis, myself. aside from people here, I talk to Tam, and my alliance leadership (I'm an officer in the alliance).

Yeah, I talk to people here and then Satan and Damies.
But honestly, I can leave my phone at home and be away for 10 hours and still have no missed calls or messages.

Yeah...I have like...zero people who talk to me outside of online friends...mainly on here.

You could hide your phone somewhere, set the ringtone to someone shouting "look at the moon" and have a friend call you at a specified time.

Partly it depends on which job I'm at when it starts/is going on.
At the museum we'd probably all take a couple minutes to check it out, tbh.
But at the craft store, that wouldn't go over so well.
