I've tried frog. Not completely willingly -- got tricked by my grandparents.

I am told it is chickeny...but they would need to be handled in a certain manner to get the toxins out and not food-poison everyone.

Watching the news. The living members of Monty Python have announced a reunion. It's weird to see them all with grey hair.

So yeah, it does in fact taste like chicken, but it has a different texture and isn't as tender. I took one bite and looked at it very dubiously.

So far, only 1 or 2 are going at Dante, but I probably do expect more, or just ones that aren't instantly killed by everyone else. Although scaling walls seems to be a good idea now, just to not get bitten...

Rurik and Thomas probably have the upper hand in this mess. I'm not sure how Lev's going to be able to handle snakes; he doesn't use anything besides firearms, and catching them and tearing them apart paves the way to being bitten. While his regen is pretty good, that's still a lot of venom.

So, really, the problem now is that slashing everywhere with the whipblade brings about the side effect of potentially catching someone in friendly fire.

The most exotic thing I've ever eaten was probably Moose, though that's hardly exotic. It does not taste like chicken. Bison is better, or barley fed white-tailed deer. Best meat ever. ;)

Kadia is basically Uriel, in a very literal "fiery" sense. Lev/Nalsa is Zagzagel in a very warped sort of way... I guess Gall's healer would be akin to Rafiel.

And no, not really. I might have objections if you were to eat *my* dog, but dog in general, not real objections. Of course, I've yet to actually encounter dog on a menu so I don't really know how I'd react to it.

I suppose things are only exotic if one doesn't encounter them on a regular basis.

It was less of a menu and more of my Phillipino neighbors/cousin's dinner. Dog in question had ravaged its fair share of people and was forced to be put down. And...never again.

I'd be more concerned about eating what was used to put the dog down. Unless of course, it was shot.

I'm not actually all that sure, I get my knowledge mostly from books, primarily A Dictionary of Angels, and The Encyclopedia of Angels.. The Books of Enoch are pretty good, too, though they're actual stories.

I've got a bunch more coming for Christmas, will let you know how they are.
