That I totally agree... freaking chihuahua's everywhere. Those are my sisters. There is one that acts like a really dog, except for all the shivering - but other than that he's cool.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 07:51 PM

Heh. We're curious about my brother's dog. He's supposed to be a pom-chi, and we can see the pom part, but he's bigger than either breed should be, and his parent was a short hair chihuahua. He looks a little more pom-papillion, but still kinda big. Could be a genetic fluke or maybe there was another daddy hanging around the neighbourhood. Not sure. My sister in law's friend owned the parents.

Fauxreal 03-01-2012 08:14 PM

Well - there is so much to dog breeding, parents, parents parents... It can get crazy! We have one chichi from purebreed parents, they won some kinda awards, I'm not sure of all the details - but I find she is a complete nut. Her siblings seem kind though.
But to be sure all the kids are loving - and these are the best alarm system ever.
In general though, I just love animals. I also have a talking parrot and he's a blast!

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 08:26 PM

Yeah. My brother's dog yaps at everything, though his voice isn't as high pitched as it could be, and he's learning..ever so slowly learning. It doesn't help that both poms and chis are yappers. (Dog show people lost our parking reservation at a large show in the USA and we got stuck being put in the back of the football field sized area for RV's, next to an RV with about 10 pomeranians. 8 am every day, Yap!Yap!Yap!Yap!Yap!Yap!Yap!Yap!) He's pretty much hard-wired to do it. I've heard it's the same with chi-weenies.

He barks when someone knocks at the door. He barks when he *sees* someone knock on the door, or the wall, or put their coffee cup down, or open a door inside the house. You can pinch his little mouth shut and he will still bark through his lips.

He's learning though. He shuts up when someone he knows arrive and if they don't make a big deal of arriving, and he knows me because I shout through the door for him to shut up.

I like my spaniels. Even tiny they still have something of a *woof* sound. The baying is cute too.

Aw, that sucks. D: But I'm glad you're finally getting a break from constantly working at it! >w<

Hopefully the assignment will be done soon. :]

Yeah, I want to trade some in...but I think it'll all have to wait till DK gets her lappy back. :'(

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 08:35 PM

*sigh* That's a clue for me to go check into Cat Paws isn't it?

And the assignment is due tonight so yes, it better be done soon! ;)

Fauxreal 03-01-2012 08:36 PM

I think I'm going to trade some event currency as well.

I've had chi's my whole life, my mom loves them. It's a 50/50 I find - with them being barkers. But when they do bark... they bark enough for several dogs. *ug*

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 08:39 PM

The funny thing is that he tries so hard not to bark because he knows we don't like it. He has his mouth shut and looks like he's trying so hard to keep it that way but the bark - more of a *mmurff* really, comes out anyway.

We're in the process of teaching him "inside voice" which I did with my spaniel. It gives the dog an outlet to vocalize but not so much that it drives the people nuts.

I'll check into cat paws in a few minutes guys. If you have trades, send them to cat paws and I'll work them out. :)

Quiet has access to Cat Paws and all the charity images for the paw logs and stuffs? owo
*never knew that* D:

I'm sure you and your partners will finish on time! >w<
How much more do you guys have left to do? :0

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 08:42 PM

Formatting and a few additional pages. But the formatting that's left is a pain. Well, for me it's a pain since I use Open Office, not Word. Things do get messed up in the cross over sometimes but not often. Unfortunately, this is one of those times.

Arikana 03-01-2012 08:46 PM

That doesn't sound too bad? Though the easiest way to fix it would be for you to get Microsoft Office. ;P

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 08:48 PM

Not paying for it. Money is tight enough as it is.

Arikana 03-01-2012 08:53 PM

Ah, true, true. I'd lend you mine to use...but mine is for Mac and I don't know what OS you use and I don't trust the post office system enough to mail it over and have it mailed back to me in good condition. >w>

Also: I have sent a trade with event stuffs to Cat Paws. :]

Pshh. Google Docs is the way to go. :3

Quiet Man Cometh 03-01-2012 09:07 PM

Agreed. I love Google Docs. <3
Best part is that it can be everywhere so long as an internet connection is around. And with technology these days, wifi is almost everywhere! :'D

Yeah, it can make .doc files. :]

And I agree, .docx files are useless. =w= I wonder why that extension was even created in the first place... >w>

Athilea Majiri 03-01-2012 11:27 PM

Sorry read this and had to comment!

SO FREAKING TRUE!

That is all.

Arikana 03-01-2012 11:54 PM

@Majiri: Not much, just apparently talking about Google Docs and its awesomeness right now. x] How are you?

@Faux: I know, right? I love Google Docs!! :'D

Kiddiss 03-02-2012 12:18 AM

~Kat pops in to see what's shakin', and has a knapsack FULL off all different flavours of pocky, including chocolate, strawberry, chocostrawberry (yes, they sell that IRL here), and of course katnip and puppynip (for Faux-Faux and AND ^_~) ~

So, did all the yaoi buttons and poisonous butlers get squared away?
I'm in need of chocolate - the pocky doesn't have enough chocolate for me, so I must go hunt for some in the kitchen >_> *huntress mode*

Fauxreal 03-02-2012 12:32 AM

I already brushed my fang, so I'll wait till morning to eat more sweets!

Batty 03-02-2012 12:46 AM

Ew, did I hear something about sweets?

Athilea Majiri 03-02-2012 12:57 AM

I have missed a few things. I am alright, thank you for asking. ^_^

Batty 03-02-2012 12:58 AM

Hey Ath, hows it going?

Arikana 03-02-2012 01:12 AM

Yeah, I don't think I'll be eating pocky in real life for a while now. I only eat them once in a while. They're too sweet for me...but I do have a craving for them once in a while. Just like how I'm craving RKSs right now. >w>

Anyone here a HUGE fan of vegetables and fruites like myself? >w<

Kiddiss 03-02-2012 01:31 AM

Hiya all to the peeps who just came in (Batty and Ath) :3
I killed a Hershey's Kiss that was lurking on my kitchen table >_> *total ninja kitteh style*
The damned thing was as big as my fist! I have fairly small hands (I prefer "dainty", actually- NOT! :P LOL), but still, ya know? And I wasn't very gentle ripping off its foil skin, so wrapping up the leftover bit was not an easy task >.< Now I must go brush my fangs (I always have to brush right after I eat; it's almost an OCD thing with me :/ )

Ari, what is a RKS?
And, although I am a chocoholic, I do love me some veggies and fruits!! Sometimes I'll just steam a whole bowl of green beans and chow down! And in the Summer, nothing beats fresh frozen blueberries (meaning the ones you buy fresh in the produce section then freeze- not the same as stuff you buy already frozen). I did learn the hard way that blueberries are acidic (whoddathunkit?) and eating too many in one sitting (like, more than a cup) hurts your mouth D:

Athilea Majiri 03-02-2012 01:31 AM

I'm alright, how are you?

Batty 03-02-2012 01:37 AM

I'm good!

Kind of hungee though... joo?

Kiddiss 03-02-2012 01:48 AM

I'm trying to keep my mind occupied so that I keep from falling into a fit of depression. Chocolate helps.

~Kat hands Batty some chocolate, some pocky, and some katnip flavoured cookies… and a veggie platter, just in case~

I have songs from the movie "Get Him to the Greek" stuck in my head >.< Must. YouTube. Them.

Lucid: 03-02-2012 12:53 PM

**feeds batty an apple and a quesadilla** :3

Reyoki 03-02-2012 12:56 PM

*steals the quesadilla and retreats into a dark cave in some nearby rocks*

Lucid: 03-02-2012 01:02 PM

D8 That was supposed to put some flesh on Batty's little body! **whips up another, plus some rice**

Reyoki 03-02-2012 01:07 PM

But... but... Reyo hasn't had lunch yet! ;A;

... ;^; *puts back the quesadilla with a bite taken out of it and retreats back into the cave*

Lucid: 03-02-2012 01:20 PM

**places a plate of fried rice at the entrance to Reyo's cave** :3

Reyoki 03-02-2012 01:23 PM

83 *noms on the tasty fried rice and glomps Lucid* YAY! Reyo love you long time!

Lucid: 03-02-2012 01:31 PM

Yay! Lucid love Reyo long time too! **puts Reyo into my big hair-cave**

Reyoki 03-02-2012 01:34 PM

Ooh, there's lots of hammerspace here!

Lucid: 03-02-2012 01:49 PM

Where else would I keep my entire inventory? XD

Reyoki 03-02-2012 01:56 PM

For a time, I thought you kept it in your cleavage. ;3

Lucid: 03-02-2012 02:08 PM

Well, that's where I keep what doesn't fit in my hair. ;D
