I don't mind criticism if the words were carefully chosen.

I often take suggestions\opinion on my stuff from a lot of other artists.
Plus, may I add this, I have an old screen computer that makes everything more blurry then the new screens computer does.

That was just what I wanted to say.

As for chocolate... well I like milk, dark (not to dark) and white chocolate :D.

I love white chocolate D:

You're not a child, Uke. It just sounds like you just need a bit more time and practice with taking criticism better. You'll never get away from it as criticism comes with the art related territory. I don't really find criticism wrong or as a bad thing either, as long as it's helpful and not just something like, "lol this sucks balls :B", which Blaine didn't do.

Try seeing criticism as a way to challenge yourself and try to get better, because that's what it is, really. You might find something new to tackle as well in your field or art.

I'm never good at taking it unless I ask for it first. *shrugs* I'm just in the mind set that when it comes to art, unless you can't say something good, don't say anything - unless the person asks you to critique your work.

But we have a big user base and I can't exactly expect all of the users to hold in their opinions. Which is why when someone critiques my stuff, I hold my tongue. I am more upset that he said people who can't take critiques are fools and children, really.

White chocolate is teh yums.

Blaine I think the point he was trying to make was ick isn't a critique. And it does hurt my feelings a little bit the way you worded it. I have worked more than 80 hours in the last 6 days to get the items out with little sleep most nights. I also have a degenerative arthritis so its very hard for me to work like that. And when someone says nothing constructive about it, I really wouldn't call it a criticism I just choose to say nothing because I understand you don't like them, and you have that right, everyone does. I just didn't really find what you said constructive.

Yuki 03-18-2011 09:07 PM

Oh wait apparently someone already beat me to it...

And it looks like there's a fight...

*backs*

Fenris 03-18-2011 09:09 PM

There is no fight Yuki.

Angel Spirit Girl 03-18-2011 09:10 PM

Now that you are releasing the relief items, I will have to go check them out.

Taiki 03-18-2011 09:11 PM

I am only good at taking criticism if the person who criticizes me ALSO gives me pointers on how to fix whatever it is. xD

I can't speak for Blaine, but I have been talking him through this, and I hope he doesn't get mad at me... but...

He just seems a little upset that people are taking his opinion to heart a little too harshly.

It was just an opinion.

We love Tris, Fen, you're amazing...
it...was an opinion. OTL

You've got an a n g e l on your shoulder
