Thank you on the lip combo, I am happy to tell you what it is if you like though actually yours is super pretty! Also, let's get to specifics. I like your eyes a lot. Mine are plain really. You have some extra thing going on with the eyes. *grins* Nice. I like how you used the Rolling Thunder. Did you put that over something purple? Clever. Nice work with the mesh on the arms and the Lolita HDE around the waist. The horns of the Boneyard (?) go really well for color and theme, perfect. It's a pretty stellar outfit. I'm going to work on something new, just not sure what. I wanted the doll joints to show but some got covered up. Maybe I'll try a doll again.

Red/crimson/berry depends on how small the area is, and the shade. Darkest red is almost identical to middle crimson depending on the pixeling. Crimson seems to have a slightly lighter light. Then the only difference between those two and lightest berry red is that the berry darks are a little darker. Naturally the range of shades are all different, but having those three be so similar means I'll only ever use one in a common recolor.

I can tell the difference between basic/silver/steel, but you can only do so many shades of grey before it gets boring. :P

Well I just threw some stuff on whilst waiting for the Feb DI's. I can't wait for them to come out! I wonder if they will have pink in them! I am very excited no matter what they come up with, all of the items here are just really stellar.

I don't know what my plans are yet. My husband has a project and a quiz both due tonight, so I told him that if he didn't have time to do anything fun it wasn't a big deal. But then he asked me "Is that true?" and I was like, "Well.....no. But I can't do much about it because school comes first." Haha, he's such a smart cookie. I think he wants to do something for me but since he's so stressed out about schoolwork, I'd be just as happy doing something tomorrow or even later during the week. Monday night date nights are so great because nothing's crowded.

@ Twigg - Bowling wow...I was just thinking yesterday how much fun it would be to go bowling, I am really so envious. I remember going bowling when I would cut school (don't tell anyone) and just hang around. But there is nowhere close here. I hope you have a great time if you go. We are going to watch the Avengers tonight on our TV. We have seen it before at the theater but that was a while ago and my hubby bought a copy so we can see it now, should be fun.

I tried making a dusk/dawn avi with a color splash, but it turned out pretty bad so I scrapped it. :C I couldn't even really make the accent look good, otherwise I might have kept it as a pitiful first attempt. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with it.

Yeah Uma, we're both going to school. It's a bit crazy to sync our schedules up sometimes, but he talked to the TA on friday and found out that he was pretty much done with the project so we were able to go out. :3 It was good, we went to the Pita Pit. I love pitas.

Dusk and dawn are the two pinks in the special set. Dusk is the darker one and dawn is the lighter one. They look good used together, but in the end my avatar looked like two different colors without having a third shade to blend the two together.

I really love your avi now Uma, the way the dress all blends together looks very beautiful and elegant. The lilac adds a lot of emotion as well. It really takes the avatar from a level of basic monochrome dress to a more regal level.

I'd love an Ari challenge! :U

I think you should say 'Original Arikana Challenge' since I don't create the avatars, I just provide the cogs to help the user create 'em. Kind of like a map. o3o

Lol. My challenges are meant to be difficult and get people out of the ordinary and thinking outside of the box with my...odd requirements and restrictions. ;)

I like the odd requirements and restrictions. I think it makes for a really good and...challenging challenge. I just think it's funny when you're like, "Use a sword! But you can't have any sword-blade colors. Use this all-black item! Oh but you can't use black." :s-awesome:

Well there has to be a small amount of compromise or we could not get the avatar made! But overall, really great ones spring forth from the inspiration of these challenges!

That sounds like an interesting challenge! I feel like I'm ready to change my avatar too, but I want to try the monochrome challenge, but I don't know where to start or what color I want. **pokes avatar some more** My avatar brain is dead.

Just putting it out there, I'm a guy. The gif is just a clip from a Chris Crocker video that I found hilarious.

@Uma: I'm used to making black/white, black/red, or black/red/white avatars. There are so many different beautiful colors on Trisphee, but I still can't seem to break the habit of the color scheme.

Whoops, my bad. I was going by the avatar.
As you collect more items, it's a lot easier to make avatars in more colors. Buying up every color of a cheap common like gloves, socks, or underwear also makes it easier to branch out into different colors.

I know that's how it is. I'm just biased and continuously by items that are black/white/red in theme. Yesterday I attempted a colorful avvie and failed miserably. XD

I'm sure you can do it with a little practice! Try making one that is black/blue or black/purple or black/green, some other color besides red. Then you'll be better at making a black/red/X avatar!
