do you rest your head on your pillows? if you rest your head on your pillow then you are making contact with the surface of it, if you are making contact with the surface then you are making contact with the stuff ON the surface of the pillow

Doesn't matter really, just don't make them too alike.

coloring is easier but drawing is more fun

and drawing allows for more creativity and that way you can sometimes overcome skill. Unless the opponent posses both and is a tryhard.
