I have no idea...

Den 12-20-2015 08:57 PM

The way the event shop works is that all the items are the event rares, and that's all that we get, unless Toho and Galla decide to surprise us with bonus items.

Quirk 12-20-2015 08:57 PM

I'll keep an eye on it at any rate. :) Also also, you know items with multiple poses: do you need multiple items to use the poses, or can you use several different poses at once all with the same item?

@Den Ooh thank you for clearing that up for me :)

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 08:59 PM

-Just got Dinoscore from item trading, ironically-

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:00 PM

Ooh congratulations! :)

Den 12-20-2015 09:01 PM

with the multiple pose items you need more than one of the item to get all the poses. *is kind of an oldbie, lol*

Awen Moonshine 12-20-2015 09:02 PM

You'll want multiples for more than 1 pose.

I live down in Kent, UK, so we're too low to see most things well :( It's a shame as I love watching the moon...

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:04 PM

Ooh thank you both so much! :) I'm done with the stupid questions now I think haha.

I'm right in the Highlands of Scotland, so we get pretty decent views for that kind of stuff. Though even when I'm further south for uni the skies are still pretty clear depending where you go :)

Den 12-20-2015 09:13 PM

I want to visit Scotland someday. Partially because my family has ties to the Grant clan, and partially because I like to visit new places and learn about the culture and try all the food and drinks. Even the stuff that makes normal tourists go "eeek!" :D

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:17 PM

Aw you should definitely try and visit some day! It's a really beautiful country. I've lived here my entire life and I'm still finding new and cool places to go to. I'm really excited for next week. It's my 21st so my mum's hired a proper 1970s camper van and we're going road tripping further south. It's going to be so much fun! :)

Fulkth 12-20-2015 09:20 PM

@Den

You mean eep from things like haggis?

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:22 PM

Even I won't touch haggis haha

Yup. I'm the odd bird in my family. I eat things that scare or gross out the adults and the kids, aside from a few people who are kind of weird like me. :3 And I pride myself on being willing to try things at least once. Which, considering I grew up in the Midwestern US, where people are "Meat and Potatoes" types, is a huge thing...

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:26 PM

There is also some really nice food here too :) You need to try tablet, that's honestly like heaven! <3

Den 12-20-2015 09:30 PM

Ooo, I'll add that to my list of things to try. :)

Fulkth 12-20-2015 09:34 PM

Hmm, if Quirk won't eat haggis I will have to pass on that too.

But I won't mind trying the tablet. XD

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:35 PM

My mum makes amazing tablet. I still haven't found shop bought stuff that compares yet. Though there was a visitor centre in Glencoe that was pretty close. :) I'm wanting to try my hand at making it too since it's simple enough, just a lot of stirring involved.

Den 12-20-2015 09:37 PM

lots of stirring involved is also how I describe making cheese sauce from scratch. lol

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:38 PM

Take the amount of stirring involved in cheese sauce, times it by ten and then you have the tablet making process haha

Den 12-20-2015 09:40 PM

LOL So I should prolly not try to make tablet. My wrists complain into the next day when I make sauce... Yay for carpal tunnel.

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:42 PM

It's so worth it in the end though! <3 I'll just have to mail you some, it's basically just pure sugar so I'm sure there won't be any preservation problems haha

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 09:43 PM

... You're speaking of food. -Pays rapt attention-

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:45 PM

I constantly talk of food :') /greedy

Fulkth 12-20-2015 09:49 PM

I like to talk about food as well!

I found some information on tablet! It looks tasty!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablet...nfectionery%29

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:51 PM

It's so so good! Homemade is definitely much nicer than commercial :) Also I'm not too fond of it with vanilla or whisky, but that's pureky personal preference. Though if you ever get the chance I would recommend trying it :)

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 09:52 PM

-Headbob- So you guys are cooks? I'm aspiring to be one.

Quirk 12-20-2015 09:55 PM

I don't think I have the nerve to be a professional chef. I just cook for myself really. I'm not too bad in the kitchen though :)

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 09:58 PM

I'm terrible in the kitchen. -Rolls the other direction- I just need practice. Mom doesn't like using 'exotic' ingredients. Like cumin.

Den 12-20-2015 09:58 PM

I learned to cook for myself when I was a kid, because Mom and Dad both worked. I could never be a professional chef. I'd be grey by now if I were!

Tas 12-20-2015 10:04 PM

cumin's not that exotic. o.o

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 10:09 PM

According to Mom it is!
As are things like pomegranate juice and maple powder.

Tas 12-20-2015 10:31 PM

she's gotta learn to try new things!

Fulkth 12-20-2015 10:44 PM

How can cumin be exotic if it's in taco seasoning? O.O

Den 12-20-2015 10:52 PM

My parents are of a similar mindset. It's like pulling teeth to get them to try anything new.

Rainbowfox Ari 12-20-2015 10:55 PM

Mom neither wants to, nor WILL, try anything new. She hates food in general. >>

Tas 12-20-2015 10:56 PM

wow, that's weird. Food is good. o___o

Den 12-20-2015 11:21 PM

Part of the joy of food, for me at least, is the prep. The ritual of making things is enjoyable to me.

Tas 12-20-2015 11:31 PM

I don't often make food, but when I do I get really into it. O___O

CupcakeDolly 12-20-2015 11:52 PM

Uh, cumin isn't that exotic... Oh well.
Most of the time I'm too lazy to cook, but I get into the mood for it sometimes. I like to be a mad scientist and try to invent new recipes. So far... not very good results. ^ ^;

CONGRATS! THAT WAS THE WORD!

I'm a while late, but who cares, it's my game.

How's everyone? What have I missed?
