That is nice!! Literally future is female

Espy 09-26-2019 10:18 PM

Hmm. Why would that limit her methods of reproduction?

Mekatra 09-26-2019 10:26 PM

It is possible she would be sterile through conventional means.

Espy 09-26-2019 10:28 PM

That doesn’t make sense to me... she’d be XX, and be a “normal” human being... wonder how sterility would happen.

Burnt Rice 09-26-2019 11:50 PM

I'm not a scientist. It was explained somehow, but it mostly boils down to how the process works. That being said, it could have just been a dream. Hella of a weird one tho.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 12:05 AM

there would be no more or less sterility than in any other child. the child would though, in our current definition of things be a type of somatic clone as the genes would come from an adult doner's genes and not a standard reproduction packet

Burnt Rice 09-27-2019 12:20 AM

It's got to do with the magic of stem cells. IDK what that would mean for the child conceived.

But yeah, it wouldn't make sense if the child was unable to reproduce like their peers. Then again... science = witchcraft
so who knows. (:
(Probably scientists and smart people)

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 12:30 AM

no it doesn't.

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 12:42 AM

<u< If I could, I would love to reproduce asexually. But at the same time, I wonder, >~>; if that would hurt as equally much as childbirth or more...

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 12:48 AM

well if you are carrying the offspring it certainly wouldn't hurt any less than sexual reproduction x''D

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 12:54 AM

o_o I think birthing a tiny human hurts more than the conception part.
>.> With asexual reproduction, I AM the offspring, and the parent at the same time..splitting into two identical and complete organisms. >~>; I can imagine it may hurt to split off and rip away from one's body, all with the energy and mass taken and distributed so that clone me can function and live after the split. But on the plus side, I could multiply myself instantly whenever I needed to. :] Instead of birthing a look-alike, then waiting for it to grow into a copy of me.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:01 AM

um, i think i've misunderstood this XD i didn't know you were just making jokes

Burnt Rice 09-27-2019 01:06 AM

I am so confused. Who would want to live with their own clone? ):

Espy 09-27-2019 01:08 AM

I mean, if I could get a clone who’d yeet me out of bed and make me take my meds, that’d be great.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:08 AM

the same people who'd want to live with children?

Espy 09-27-2019 01:09 AM

Clones are fine. I can’t do children. They think I’m one of them.
