-snort- You don’t even need to be in Brazil. Just find any heckin communal housing environment and get a few housemates (like me) who don’t throw shit out regularly.

... why don't you don't throw shit out regularly????

My house is pretty clean, but somehow when it's hot cockroaches still come out because they're the true owners of the place I guess

Espy 09-30-2019 06:13 PM

Executive dysfunction.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:19 PM

oooh damn, true. when I was in college/uni we always had a cleaning lady |D

Espy 09-30-2019 06:27 PM

Back when I was in traditional style dorms, we had a housekeeper for the communal areas. Suite bathrooms and rooms, though? That’s all on you.

At AZ, though, my housing situation has either been something like a studio apartment with a shared kitchen (bugs went through the entire building via pipes; I kept the kitchen pretty tidy but they still liked using it as a pit stop on their way to the end rooms), or an actual small house w two housemates.

Man, I'd just teach my cockroaches to tap dance and start a roach revue.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:30 PM

Bathrooms are the areas that need cleaning the most tho!!

Espy 09-30-2019 06:35 PM

Nothing for cockroaches to eat in bathrooms.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:54 PM

they come out of the drains tho
at least here.

Biomecha 09-30-2019 07:08 PM

They like water.

There's some pretty huge ones outside here, some fly.

Espy 09-30-2019 07:33 PM

Oh that’s why I plug my drains when I’m not using them.

Mekatra 09-30-2019 08:14 PM

Roaches like areas with electricity too so if you have a desktop computer you should open up the case and make sure they aren't infesting it if you have them in your house.

Biomecha 09-30-2019 08:16 PM

Never... never use those public automated coffee machines unless you know they get thoroughly cleaned out daily.

mdom 09-30-2019 08:17 PM

uhhh good thing my computer is kinda open

Mekatra 09-30-2019 08:20 PM

I would be wary of soft serve ice cream, slushie and soda dispenser machines too, to be honest. They rarely get cleaned properly.

Stabbsworth 10-01-2019 10:30 AM

mcdonalds' ice cream machines are always broken because of the inherent health risks in the machines. that, and mcdonalds constantly threatens to replace its workforce with robots, and yet replacing the ice cream machines with easier-to-clean ones is 'too expensive'. my ass.
