No, I'm usually very uninterested in sites storylines...the only one I used to keep up with was Gaia, but that was before I was on 5456356 sites. lol

Well they never hinted it, they just said it was coming up.
A dream avi creator is a small possibility.

I've more than hinted at a saved-avatar feature -- I've outright said it's already implemented on the backend but I need to get the interface working better before I can activate it.

Maybe it's an option to formally pick a race, something that offers up new bases? I don't know. They've done more than just hint at a comic (they've actually said there's going to be one) so I don't think it's that.

You just said no one never hinted at the feature, now your saying that you've been hinting at a avatar saved feature? (a little lost, but also isn't)

I've talked about it in several threads before. It's not on our short-term list because I have to do some heavy overhauls to the avatar editor before I can let you guys use it.
