there is only ONE skimpy, next to nothing costume I woudl wear if I was skinny, and that's Felicia from Dark Stalkers, but she was my first 'OMG video games rock' character...so yeah. but as I am NOT skinny I stick with other, much more covering, costumes. And I feel ya on the detail comment, most of mine are so heavy in details we call it 'detail vomit'
HAHAHAHAAA! I'll have to look it up, I don't know that one.
felicia? I love her so much'
I would probably cave and do Jetta from Eternal Champions even though no one would have a bloody clue who I was. |

Fey! I have seem that toon before!
*watches Reyo sketch* |
5k for B&W, 10k for Color.
Sounds like a fair deal. I just went to an art show and a little 3inch by 3 inch - painted was over $50.00.
o.o *twitch twitch* Reyo charges $20 for a whole page of 1-inch LiveJournal user icons. That's about $1 per icon.
That's a great price then!
I feel like I'm getting ripped off now, though.
art is such a subjective thing it's hard to know when you're charging too much or not enough. If you find the right person no price is too high(says the girl who spends waaaaaaaay too much money on art), but to the same extent we live in a 'walmart pricing' world, so people have very skewed ideas on costs.
*nods* This is true. I actually thought I was ripping off the person who'd commissioned me.
I can give you ideas based on what I charge for commission in fabric/crafting, but it doesn't translate well to traditional, nor digital, art
Nah, that's fine. I don't normally take on commissions anyway. The most I ever do is give tarot readings for food from the cafeteria on campus.
Oh tea shop I have missed you so! -hugs it- I am the manry-est of men! |
Always stop in Nikko's tea house. :)
Fair skinned woman with a large fox enters the tea house and seats herself in a chair, the fox wrapping itself around the legs and lying in a small, flaming bundle that curiously, and to the other patron's relief, did not set the chair or the woman on fire. She picks up a small table menu and peruses it. |
