I finally finished banners for my soon to be art shop. D8 Now I'm just at the point where I'm fighting with myself on whether to actually go through with it. ;o;

I've fixed arts ..and redrawn them as well for people ^^;;

One was this lady i drew with her strap down..and the customers was like "this character is refined and OCD-ish. She'd never have a falling strap". So I fixed it =]

Yup, sometimes you have to, though I don't like when people get all anal about what they want it to look like. :/
You have to give the artist some creative freedom y'know?
Though that situation is not that, that was just a personality trait, I just hate when they want to tell you exactly how to do it. D:

That's true! I wouldn't mind if they told me up front when ordering. But nto after I finish and then you bring out the slew of things I got wrong. like "HER EYES ARE 2 pixels too wide!" :V or "You used the wrong skin tone!"

Geez.. cut some slack~ My Oc that I've been whoring out has a specific palette that I use...as well as a designated number of stripes for her socks and arm... I always start and end on a particular colour xDD

BUT. If I ask another artist to draw her, I really dont care ^_^ Because it's all in their style, and I'm paying for their style x3 I've hard people draw her daaaarrkk as night.. (which personally irks me slighty because i HAVE a darkie character and I like their skin tones to contrast >>) and gradient her hair yellow to orange, instead of yellow-to-red... BUT I love the art all the same <333333333 Because it's GORRRGEEEOUUSS

I tend to pay attention to things like that so I made sure to use the same name of colors and junk on her arms and legwarmers. o 3o;
And her hair was gradiented from red to yellow. xDD
Also picked the skin tone from the avi.

For things like that I try to stick as close as possible to what the person wants, so picking colors with the dropper tool is an easy way. xD

Even in avi art. I eyedrop the basic colours from the avi for the flats *nods*

But for that character, although I prefer it, it's not necessary x3 If it was, I'd mention it when ordering. Most of the time, I want to see how the artist sees her and how she would look through their eyes and in their style x3
