Pinkie 12-21-2015 12:52 AM

I love to cook. My parents are chefs so I grew up around it lol

Tas 12-21-2015 12:53 AM

I'm good, Galliechad! How are you?

Gallagher 12-21-2015 12:54 AM

I'm pretty good, a bit on the tired side.

I love cooking, but I'm a bit shit at it.

CupcakeDolly 12-21-2015 12:54 AM

Pinkie, you should share some recipes with us! =3
I've gotten into freezing meals now. It's my new weird hobby. I have a metric shit ton of pastas and sides in little portion bags in the freezer.

Pinkie 12-21-2015 12:58 AM

Galla: I can cook and I think im good I mean I have been cooking since I was six so...things tend to catch on lol

Cupcake: Oh? Some time I sure will

Den 12-21-2015 01:50 AM

I used to cook a lot more, back when I lived alone... but over time, I started not really caring and slipped into the habit of just noodles and broth most nights...

littl3chocobo 12-21-2015 02:56 AM

XD i can and do cook though it is a coinflip if it is good(unless it is beef, then it is good)

Monorea 12-21-2015 03:16 AM

My cooking most often is good but if i feel lazy i make pancake, waffles or pasta with tomato and olive sauce.

Den 12-21-2015 04:09 AM

I love making meatballs. My preferred cooking method is roasting them in the oven, unless I feel like making soup. Then I just boil them in water, unless I have an appropriate broth available. I prefer 90/10 beef or lamb for red meat when making meatballs, and turkey for poultry. I also get pretty creative when it comes to noodle dishes, if I'm feeling up to doing more than just boiling noodles.

Awen Moonshine 12-21-2015 05:41 AM

I love cooking, but I hate our tiny kitchen, so my partner makes all our meals now. I used to cook for myself every day though and I'm pretty good at it. I love experimenting with recipes <3 I still make things like green tea & white chocolate chip cookies or chocolate & peanut butter fudge <3 Things that are fairly quick, easy and tasty ^_^;; We normally have things like pasta bakes and things that can be made in my slow cooker during the week, and maybe a roast dinner or something a bit fancier over the weekend if we're home. I love food <3

Den 12-21-2015 05:58 AM

I would love to be able to have access to stuff to make fresh sushi, amongst other things. But living in the middle of the country, in a small town, the best I can do is frozen stuff.

Awen Moonshine 12-21-2015 07:39 AM

I love sushi <3 I was lucky enough to live near the coast a few years ago so I could get fresh fish easily. Back in the early days of my current relationship I used to make myself a bento to take on the coach journey to see my partner ^_^ I'd frequently have teriyaki chicken or salmon, beef tataki and tamago in my bento, a sticky rice layer and some maki, normally cucumber maki ^_^ I love Japanese food (except takoyaki).

CupcakeDolly 12-21-2015 08:00 AM

Aw man, I'd love to be able to have a bento for lunch every day! Closest I've gotten to it is buying the little boxes from Daiso... But I usually just put sandwiches in them. xD
And you're right, being on the coast rocks if you like seafood. The difference in price from where I am to 800 miles east of here is staggering.

Monorea 12-21-2015 09:03 AM

Fish is so expensive here, except sometimes Salmon can get that pretty cheap but not fresh. Fresh fish is too expensive no matter the kind.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 09:16 AM

Ok... I am here again... hahaha! :D

Monorea 12-21-2015 09:31 AM

Well do you have any insightful words that can snatch us another win from Galla?

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 09:52 AM

I wish I have! But I am not really sure what Galla is actually thinking? Maybe we should implement mind control over Galla? Hahaha!

Monorea 12-21-2015 09:55 AM

I don't think it would work in any case, Galla is too mysterious.

Quirk 12-21-2015 09:59 AM

Hey everyone :)

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:00 AM

darn Galla! Did Galla gave clues already? hahaha!

Hi Quirk! :)

Quirk 12-21-2015 10:03 AM

How're you doing today? :)

Monorea 12-21-2015 10:06 AM

I dunno i am too lazy to check backwards.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:06 AM

I'm doing good Quirk! And you?

Your avi reminds me of a thin and green Barney... and I am creeped out by Barney. No offense, it doesn't pertain to you lad. haha!

Quirk 12-21-2015 10:20 AM

Aw I'm glad to hear you're doing well! :) Yeah I'm not too bad thanks. I'm just having a chilled out day. I'm probably going to play the sims soon, but I'm undecided. I got the new TS4 expansion the other day and I haven't played that but I also had a lot of fun playing TS2 at the weekend so who knows.

I assure you I'm definitely not as creepy as Barney haha.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:27 AM

Nice! I'm not really updated with Sims anymore... I used to play that game about 7 years ago? Has much changed?

Quirk 12-21-2015 10:30 AM

The sims is one of my main addictions to be honest haha. I have 2, 3 and 4 plus all expansions and stuff packs installed on my laptop. I'm surprised anything still runs. To be perfectly honest, not too much has changed. The Sims 4 is a strange kind of backwards step. There's no more open world or anything and there's no create a style on items, just the swatches. Though there's much more limited than in TS2. Also, they got rid of toddlers so babies are now a weird object rather than a sim. TS4 is still a pretty good game, but I play it differently than I did the previous gens, as I don't really get any enjoyment from the family aspect in 4. Also, the game was basically released unfinished, so they're patching in more core content that should have been in the base game. 4 just seems a lot more slap-dash than previous ones. I still sink far too much money into the franchise though haha.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:37 AM

i see... so i haven't missed much then. I quite think that avi sites stems from TS... or i may be wrong. haha

Quirk 12-21-2015 10:42 AM

Yeah not too much has changed. I still love the games though. They have been somewhat neglected since I got my PS4 though haha. They definitely have some similar elements. That's probably why I like them so much haha.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:44 AM

same here! Those games that you just play to pass time... I also enjoy Harvest Moon though. :D

Quirk 12-21-2015 10:46 AM

I've never really played Harvest Moon, I've always been intrigued by it though.

Cazzidy 12-21-2015 10:49 AM

ah!!! you should try it! First one I played was Back to Nature, way back PS1. :)

Rainbowfox Ari 12-21-2015 11:46 AM

-Ears perk as he hears talk of Sims-

Monorea 12-21-2015 12:14 PM

Sims 3 were split into too many expansions and item packs
Sims 4 Were awful at least at release
I liked the original and Sims 2 tho

Quirk 12-21-2015 12:53 PM

I liked the sims 3. There's a lot that you can do with the game. However it runs like poo on my laptop. I can be waiting for up to an hour on loading screens just to get into the game, so that's why I don't really play it now. I like the sims 4 now that there's been a decent amount of patches and theres some new content, though I do agree that in comparison to the others it's not the best. Sims 2 is forever my favourite though.

Monorea 12-21-2015 01:25 PM

Yeah i especially like the makin magic expansion, it was fun and had lots of things to try in.

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:24 PM

I never had Makin' Magic. I had the original and House Party I think. I didn't really play that one all too much on PC, I preferred it on console. It was only with the later gens that I really got into PC gaming :)

Nightmare 12-21-2015 02:28 PM

Sims 3 on the Wii was disappointing.
There wasn't even any music in the game. D:

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:31 PM

I never had it on the wii. I was curious to try the console version of it though, I quite liked the sound of a karma system. Though I know it would be that way that I wouldn't enjoy playing it purely because there's not the freedom that you have with the PC version of the game.

Nightmare 12-21-2015 02:33 PM

Like.. it was cool in the sense that you could run around as your
character. But other than that, it was boring. There was barely
any noises in the game. It was just so quiet.

Quirk 12-21-2015 02:37 PM

That does sound pretty eerie haha. Soundtracks are probably one of my favourite parts of games tbh.
