I thought some of Gaia's items looked tool shaded. I think they use both styles. Ernya is definitely pure pixel.

I usually prefer pure pixel on sites and other artwork, but I prefer to draw tool shaded stuff when I make stuff.
I can purely pixel, but I'm lazy and I don't consider it cheating, just not pixel art. It is its own thing to me...

You should apply to be a pixel artist on here. :] You seem like you know what you are doing. Show them some samples and they might hired you. ^ ^ Roliana is pure pixel too...I think.

Well, I haven't done pixel art in a long time.
And last time I did, I was trying to get hired at Solia, and they had a rule that I couldn't apply anywhere else if applying and I messed up by volunteering at Jadarea, so I never did again.

But I don't care to work at Solia anymore, so I might apply here...

I did that when trying to apply at Solia. My friends kept having requests and I kept making them. I really wish I was a better artist back then, some of my item ideas were decent...

I'm still thinking about applying here. I might be a little while either building a portfolio for them to look at, or trying to see what I can make on their base since all I have is either non-base landscape or iso, or solia base work...
