How do people have so many tokens?!?
Even with my mule account, I haven't gotten caught up since the bunny items were added! |
I just blew over 1,000 so many things I needed I got lazy and never spent them
|
I uh...spend mine all the time. I have been trying to get every item. Which is difficult when items are released in many color options.
XP How the heck am I supposed to get that many tokens? Lol |
I've been lingering at around 9.4k tokens for years now.
|
O.o
How? Just...how? I don't even have 20 right now! |
I mean, do keep in mind I'm like....eighth in total posts, haha.
There are a few achievements that I *think* are hidden? Can't check. In your case, for example, you'll hit a major token jackpot in about 300 posts. |
These turkey heads are so precious lol!!
Post a lot in every forum and subforum! Recently I got... 60 token points for posting 100 times in the Game forum, 150 points for earning 10k au through posting, and 250 points for reaching 500 total posts (across all forums). |
There, haha, IS an achievement that grants 3k tokens.
|
special event achievements happen form time to time too!
|
holy smokes. is it for reaching 10k posts?

True that, Glitch! I got 50 tokens for collecting a drop of water in the Season Forsaken event. My fave event!
|
.....Oh man, that was such a long time ago.
|
My next guess is selling your soul to the Trisphee gods for 3k tokens.
|
.....I mean, basically.
|
Yah, I was most active back when Trisphee was all about the site lore and stuff. |
Heh, same. A certain few of us back then were worried no one would even read the lore stuff. Glad to know at least some people enjoyed it.
|
I kind of missed out on the lore and stuff. I'm kind of sad actually because it looks like (based on npc items) that we had some pretty interesting site lore.
|
Return the lore for like an anniversary or something :/
|
What do you mean by, "return the lore"?
|
I think Gizzie means like sort of re-boot the lore so to speak. Like, bring back the npcs for an anniversary event so those of us that missed out on the lore can experience it?
|
Like an old school type event - I'm probably not making since due to I wasn't even here then so I really can't contribute ideas to the theme event but maybe like during a milestone year have like a recolor of an old event set or like write up something based on the characters that I have no idea who they are (the clothes with people names people)
|
Yess, I love that focus of Trisphee. The events seemed so coherent, it was kinda like playing D&D for me.
The events now are light, but it's easy for newbies to jump in. ^^ |
That, hm. How do I word this...
That's a lot easier said than done. We had more than a single storyline, and lore sometimes didn't make the most sense, even to an ex-writer like me. Rebooting the lore is a lot of work, and it's a possibility only with completely new NPCs now, from what I know. A very tenuous possibility, at that, but I've always been a pessimist. Then there's also the issue of actually finding writers with enough time and skill willing to plan and write for just site items and currency. We don't currently have a writing team, per se. |
*raises hand*
I may not be able to write a book, but if a writing team ever is needed, I'd totally at least apply. I like to think I am decent at writing when I have proper focus and ideas to run with (which I imagine would be easier for site events than as a novel). I mean, maybe creating a new site lore, something more in tune with the site as it is now rather than bringing back old npcs would be something to consider for the future? |

we've a new storyline and characters in progress, but there have been a fair few complications along the way. nothing that more writers can help with at this point unfortunately, but we'll likely be looking for them in the future, once the current issues are better in hand.
|
i don't see any turkey heads....
oh. there's a turkey head. LOL |
Sounds good. I really do look forward to all the future projects and updates that are in progress.
|
(with current discussions going on, it's probably worth noting that my opinions on where the story is at and what we need for it aren't universally shared. so. who knows. maybe we'll push for more writers soon.)
|
Well, I'll keep my eyes open...
By which, I mean that I'll probably not notice and miss any opportunity when it comes around. XD |
So like guys like so. . . .
you like Turkleton? I mean Giz is kind of terrifying. |
Lol I'm either a cannibal like Espy thought or I am a ticked off Thanksgiving turkey that was being eaten by humans and my poor friend all that was left of him was the legs I'm holding so I got revenge on the humans and pood gibblets all over the place

.....and then my Sapherna turkey has a knife and is on sale lol |
Derpy plops down, pouting. "I wanna turkey hat!"
|
super terrifying! either way! xD
|
I'm sure I've posted about why we discontinued the old story elsewhere, but it was quite a while ago from what I remember. It had a lot of significant, really unworkable, issues that eventually led to us just abandoning it. At the core was that it was originally conceived (long before I came around) as a roleplay between staff members with no sense of cohesion or standard of writing ability holding it up.
Having inherited a disaster of cliches and plotholes, I spent several years trying to beat something resembling a metaplot out of this pile of shallow self-inserts, wish-fulfillment archetypes, and meme characters, but my efforts at making them into multi-dimensional individuals worth reading about were largely met with disappointment. I can only presume nostalgia and personal affinity to the former staff members who inserted themselves into the site plot was to blame. On the subject on taking on new writers, though, a problem almost as large as the one I just mentioned back then was that, despite having a fairly large team of "writers", I would inevitably end up having to completely rewrite their scene submissions, which was really just a waste of everyone involved's time. So, any new writers need to be able to produce a level of quality where that won't be necessary. Also, Glitch, you already know my opinion on Turkleton. :| |
Derpy crawls over and tugs at Suze's leg. "Imma do all the writing, okay? It gonna be great!"
But seriously though, I can understand needing a certain level of writing from a writing team. Why hire them if you have to re-write their submissions? I get it. |
