this is true, Mekatra. :)

Mekatra 11-27-2017 02:54 PM

Since I can get upward of three to four thousand Au per day if I post like I mean it, I should have my next quest item before I even know it. XD

trystan830 11-27-2017 02:56 PM

that's awesome, Mekatra!

Mekatra 11-27-2017 02:57 PM

How're you doing, my dear? Doing anything interesting today?

Glitch 11-27-2017 03:09 PM

i'm sleepy! winter didn't want to go to bed until 10 T_T and then she wanted up at 7:30! she is very chill today though just kind of hanging out, playing lazily with her toys. She probably is gonna need another nap!

(that's my life)

xD

I checked out animal crossin this morning, did some pixeling, probably gonna do some more pixelin

trystan830 11-27-2017 03:51 PM

i went to work, goofed off on the computer, read some of War and Peace... and i might go shopping after work, depending on some other errands and how they overlay with that... and younger daughter needs a few things for a school project. and after dinner, more crocheting. XD

Mekatra 11-27-2017 04:19 PM

Sounds like you guys aren't having too crazy of days.

I'm with the kiddo, more naps!

Claire Bear 11-27-2017 04:32 PM

glitch i want your life.

spend all day pixeling and being with a baby omg. i want your life.

mdom 11-27-2017 04:39 PM

well Claire when a man and a woman love each other very much...

Claire Bear 11-27-2017 04:40 PM

;-; i have a man he loves me but he keeps saying i have to finish college before we make a baby. ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-;

Mekatra 11-27-2017 04:50 PM

That's probably a really good idea though. >.<

Claire Bear 11-27-2017 04:55 PM

oh absolutely. he's the smart one here. >.<

i'm 27 and female so i have that 'biological clock' thing going on. i see babies and i want them. it's weird, never wanted kids when i was young, but then around age 24 i started to get that baby fever.

Glitch 11-27-2017 05:05 PM

same for me claire XDDD

But at 22!!!!

I did finish college though : D 2013! And when I turned 27 Winter happened XDD I spent basically my whole 27th year pregnant! And now here I am 28. . .

Its too expensive for daycare so Brady is doing all the working right now and we also live with my mom so she can help with rent.

Claire Bear 11-27-2017 05:21 PM

i'm scared if i wait too much longer i'll be too ollllld. i wanna have two and i wanna be done giving birth when I'm like 35. no babies after like 35.

Glitch 11-27-2017 05:23 PM

ya that is a good goal!

I wanted to go to college, but I don't want to attend to further education in a career, but more for a hobby or pleasure education.
I don't mind blue-collar working, and at beginning pay it generally starts off higher.

Claire Bear 11-27-2017 06:54 PM

you can take classes just for fun.

before i decided to go for a degree i would take figure drawing at the community college so i could have access to a model and a teacher.

Espy 11-27-2017 07:35 PM

I, uh, urgh. I'm extremely creeped out by the prospect of having a kid. That is...really not for me, and I think my mom is slowly starting to get it. I've also been dropping mad hints that I'm more or less ace, so.

-snort-

Been trying to get a degree for the past five years. Hasn't happened yet. Thanks, mental health issues. Gonna try again at a different college starting next semester, probably, but boy do I not want to spend another three years struggling for a bachelor's in engineering.

trystan830 11-27-2017 09:18 PM

i went to college right after high school, and was on the "five-year plan" - i have a degree in journalism.... but my main job falls into the financial sector. i graduated when i was still 22, that was in May (1993). by july (1993), hubby and i were engaged and we got married when i was 24 - the following october (1994) which was two weeks before hubby was 24.

(oops, i should mention i met him his freshman year in college (i was a sophomore in 1989).

wow, now i feel old.

also: older daughter was born in august 1997, which was about 5 weeks before our 3-year anniversary.

Glitch 11-28-2017 11:32 AM

i couldn't sleep again last night ;-;

mdom 11-28-2017 02:21 PM

Glitch... will I have to go to the midwest and whoop some ass???

trystan830 11-28-2017 02:32 PM

bah, that's not good, Glitch :(

Claire Bear 11-28-2017 02:44 PM

i had a hard time with college because of my mental health, too.

i started at the college i'm at now as a sophomore, i had like a year and a half of credits. i only took 12 credit hours at a time and it took four years to get to where i am today.

all i have left is putting on my BFA art show and i'm taking an extra semester to do it with no classes.

school is hard and i had to go at a much slower pace than everyone else because i get depressed and anxiety. i thnk college was one of the best and worst things to happen to my mental health. i've had a lot of set backs, but i've also grown a lot in this process.

Claire Bear 11-28-2017 02:45 PM

gliiiitch, you're in the midwest? are we neighbors?? i'm living in downstate illinois right now, but I'm from Joliet.

SparX 11-28-2017 03:41 PM

Noooo she is technically with me in the pacific northwest.
but on the edge to the midwest XD
Don't take her away from me .-.

Claire Bear 11-28-2017 04:08 PM

lol ;-; i wont steal, i was just hoping we was neighbors lol.

Mekatra 11-28-2017 04:50 PM

Have you considered giving your kid Nyquil? (I am kidding, this is apparently child abuse and I was swatted for laughing while typing it.)

Espy 11-28-2017 04:56 PM

-snort- That' *barely* the midwest, mate.

I had a really bad anxiety attack this morning (started and worsened by THANKS MOM and the prospect of phone calls), but I'm a little better now and just finished a call to schedule an appointment with my (new?) academic advisor.

Mekatra 11-28-2017 04:58 PM

I dunno if it would help you at all, but sometimes when my anxiety is really giving me hell I will run my wrists under cool water for a little while. It helps lower your body temperature just a bit which helps signal to your brain that everything is okay.

mdom 11-28-2017 05:18 PM

goooo Espy!
also my therapist likes to say moms are 50% a blessing and 50% a curse xDDD

Espy 11-28-2017 05:45 PM

...mhh. I ended up going into the bathroom and curling up in ball on the bathrug.

mdom 11-28-2017 05:47 PM

It's ok. You're no longer there now.
I guess. Are you using your phone in the bathroom?

Espy 11-28-2017 05:55 PM

well, and then after getting ranted at by my mom again, i, uh, relocated. to my room. And then used the landline, bc my cell phone has shoddy reception.

Glitch 11-28-2017 06:08 PM

I!!!!. . . Live in the pacific north west!

Although brady, being from oregon, is very determined that idaho is just the "west"

xD

Claire Bear 11-28-2017 06:08 PM

;-; i was lieeeed to. i thought we was neighbors. ;-; ;-; ;-;

Glitch 11-28-2017 06:10 PM

we could meet upin a day!

Espy 11-28-2017 06:11 PM

I'm from Cali. Everything to the east of the friggin' Mississippi is the East. Or East Coast. Doesn't matter if they have zero coastline :|

Claire Bear 11-28-2017 06:13 PM

is it not so far? i hate even driving up north to see my parents, two and a half hour drive, even thats too much time stuck in a car for me.

mdom 11-28-2017 06:16 PM

everything not in the coasts is midwest tbh

Glitch 11-28-2017 06:24 PM

i could fly there in 2.5 hours!

xD
