but a clone starts off as a child XD unless you are pawning them off on someone else you'll have to choose children or nothing

Espy 09-27-2019 01:11 AM

Gross, can’t I stick them in a nutrient tank or something?

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:14 AM

sorry, the technology isn't there. besides the offspring would be a brainles veggie if they were kept tanked XD

Espy 09-27-2019 01:15 AM

You know what, maybe I’ll just wait until organic 3D printing is capable of printing an entire human, and see where brain recording and transferring technology’s at.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:17 AM

why not just adopt a teenager that looks like you?

Burnt Rice 09-27-2019 01:17 AM

If you had a clone, they would also be in bed. Not taking their meds. Then the two of you would be wishing for a clone to get you motivated and out of bed. But the third clone would just stay in bed. Not taking their meds.
Soon enough, you'll have a house full of clones and no action.

Yeah... kids are fine at a distance.
But having a clone wouldn't be like having a child. Having a clone would be you, dealing with yourself. That's terrifying imo.

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 01:20 AM

Clones would be fine, >.>; but what if they don't like me?

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:20 AM

i dunno, if the clone was raised differently then they would have different reactions than the original

assuredly the act of raising a clone to adulthood seems a lot more difficult than setting a pill alarm and keeping the pills by the bed

Espy 09-27-2019 01:20 AM

Well, stick two mentally ill people in the same room, and you get one of two possible extremes...

Merskelly Metalien 09-27-2019 01:21 AM

O_O I'll reproduce asexually when I'm good, ready and stable then!

A fun party or an EXTREME fun party?

Espy 09-27-2019 01:25 AM

Ehh.

I mean this was the case a couple years back w me and my roomie. We could either help each other with small things and eventually we’d both be enthusiastically pushing the other to medicate regularly, hydrate, eat and sleep on a normal schedule, etc...

...ooooor we could both spiral downwards and stay in bed and commiserate, which is what we actually did.

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:26 AM

at least the bed stays warm? XD

bluebird 09-27-2019 01:27 AM

toasty

littl3chocobo 09-27-2019 01:28 AM

heckin' toasty

Espy 09-27-2019 01:30 AM

It was a v enjoyable bed. Right next to a giant window, which I usually kept slightly open (it was one of those that opened by sliding up). We were on the third floor, at the top of a hill looking down on the rest of the residential area and campus.

Even had it slightly open while it was snowing. I’ve never been able to get my bed right next to a window like that since.
