I'm getting vol2 from amazon cause.. my book store is mean OnO

gotta see if theres a vol 3.. need to make my wishlist binder stuff

Espy 11-06-2012 08:07 PM

Er...hm. Not exactly. Here's the info page about spoon assassins.

...I'm getting quite paranoid for this, to be honest, and it's only two days in...Didn't help that there are people hunting people in their own dorm rooms (which are not considered safe zones)...

Tiva 11-06-2012 09:31 PM

It sounds fun....

Arikana 11-06-2012 09:32 PM

@Dk: Hm, now I want to see if my library/bookstore has it. >w> Though I doubt I'd buy it anytime soon. XP

@Espy: That sounds like a lot of fun. >w< The part of the info page I loved most was how they author of the page felt the need to link to pictures of a spoon and knife and ask people to not use knives. XD I take it the nerf assassin is similar but with nerf weapons instead of spoons? :o

Hmmm.....sounds interesting. Kinda wish my campus would do something like that.....

I wishes you luck ouo *waits for xmas*

Arikana 11-06-2012 09:57 PM

Mm, thanks Dk. :D
Though I'll probably end up going to the library or read in the bookstore, but don't buy it. >w> I don't really see it worth it to pay for a manga only to finish it in five to ten minutes. >w>

The two assassins games are sort of similar, but I'm quickly becoming very, very paranoid for Spoon Assassins...mostly because once you die, you're basically out of the game. The GMs try to cushion it by suggesting that dead people go help out the other people still in the game, but...still.

I like the rules for Nerf Assassins much better, because KGB takes Rule 0 (Don't Be A Jackass) very seriously. In Nerf Assassins, you're not allowed to shoot/hit someone who's carrying food, eating, waiting in line to get food, in a study lounge, in their own dorm rooms, or in the library. Spoon Assassins has basically no safe zones minus the bathrooms. People also aren't safe in their own rooms, and I'm at a disadvantage: Assassins have already started asking RAs (the few who are playing and moderating) to let them into our dorm , and they've just been going down the hallway hunting people. From the hallway, they usually would be able to get into my room; long story there. It's not against the rules in Spoon Assassins to even tag someone while they're asleep.

Alpha 11-06-2012 11:27 PM

Wow.....that is just a bit unfair on the whole. It's certainly realistic, but not a true game at heart.

Espy 11-06-2012 11:27 PM

Yeah...-sigh- I want to ask a certain mod to change some game rules, but he hasn't been replying to my messages...

Alpha 11-06-2012 11:50 PM

Dang.....well, best of luck with that. I'm tempted to look into starting on my campus...at least asking interest and such.

Arikana 11-06-2012 11:55 PM

@Espy: ...........Damn, that's just a bit unfair altogether. >w> Especially how dorm rooms aren't even safe! D: What if people need to do some serious studying? Besides, it's not like someone's going to hide out in their dorm room for consecutive days. Such messed up rules.

I think I'd rather play the nerf assassins MUCH more. Your KGB group seems pretty damn awesome, but still making sure things are 100% fair for all. >w<

@Alpha: Just make sure the rules for yours won't be as ridiculous as the one for Espy's school's spoon assassins one. >w>

Alpha 11-07-2012 12:02 AM

Oh, for sure. I'm more for fairness.....especially having played HvZ. It's a lot more fair than that....not one sided, but fair for sure.

Arikana 11-07-2012 12:29 AM

That's good to hear, Alpha. >w< What's HvZ? :o

Alpha 11-07-2012 12:55 AM

Humans vs Zombies (essentially a giant game of tag)

Tohopekaliga 11-07-2012 01:06 AM

To answer the gaming question, I have played a fair bit of Crusader Kings II of late. It's a "grand strategy" game from Paradox with a focus on dynasties instead of nations (like their other strategy games). Quite interesting.
