This years storm (or was it last years?) we were out of power for 4 days.
Lost quite a bit of food, and for some reason our boss had us still work even without power >.> We ended up going to dennys for energy because they had power XD and hot food =P
It was way more then an inconvenience >.>

Tiva - i think google maps has an option where you can avoid highways... that might help you

Well, in Florida, I 95 has US 1 next to it the whole way, so you can just hop off the highway at the closed bits, then get back on after.

In other states, no idea, but I'm sure something similar applies.

yeah, in my part of PA 95 and 1 are close to each other too. and about 20 minutes away in NJ, they meet up. it's fun. XD

1 isn't far off, but yeah i think that it the route my phone is taking me. It is just annoying, along with everything else.
