If I ever got the game, I would have to play it on a HDTV. Because I have tried to play games many times in the past on a SDTV, and it was an unbearable experience.
|
I wish *someone* on here would get the game... I'm going crazy not being able to talk about it. :p
|
I just get to watch someone play...I don't have much time/ability to play it myself XD
|
Well, that's completely understandable. Not a game that lends itself well to sharing. :p
...I tend to play in 8-hour or so marathons. Good luck getting on my console during the day. >_> |
My brother bought me a copy of it yesterday and I played it for 12 hours. O_____O
|
That was me all weekend. :p
Now I have school. Down to 3 hours today. :( |
Well, I could play if I wanted, my roommate sleeps a lot. I just have other...responsibilities.
|
Yeah I know what you mean. I was only able to play that long because I had already worked 4am-9am so I had the rest of the day off. xD; Today however I spent working on my webcomic stuff so I didn't get to play even though I had today off. P:

I went four hours punching before I realized that Unarmed was not a skill. But two dragons died from my fists!
Hello, by the way. |
How on earth did you manage that? The first dragons were by far the hardest for me, especially the first non-scripted one. I slaughter them now, but I have a feeling I'm getting close to an upgrade in difficulty (level 22 now).
I just started the Dark Brotherhood. So much fun. That initiation quest was spooky. I killed the noblewoman who wouldn't answer my interrogation. Drew my bow, put the arrow-tip against the base of her skull and executed her. :p I'm playing a Nord assassin type, focusing in light armor, 1-handed blades (dual wieled), sneak, archery, open locks and dabbling in smithing. I just got the Dark Brotherhood armor which is just glorious for my build. |
Unarmed not being a skill is less fun than I was hoping >.>; With the cat race's unarmed bonus I was hoping :p
|
I managed it by a lot of circle strafing (With punches!) and Lydia gaining the dragons' ire. You haven't had fun until you run in to two dragons.
I had to resort to weapons for that one. And lots of saved game reloads. I will be leaving for the moment Suz. Midnight release at my store. Later all. |
I have yet to run into two at once. Sounds... interesting. The best one for me was right after buying a horse outside of Whiterun, it swooped down on the market and started roasting people, and my valiant horse charged in and started kicking it. :D
More seriously, the Ancients' Ascent was just epic and was also my first non-scripted encounter with one. |
How is the game play so far? ^^ I don't get a copy until Saturday, at the earliest.
|
The first Shout you get is truly the best. Exploring is a dangerous yet rewarding affair. Although I've noticed that shopkeepers are so poor that your inventory becomes full with all the expensive stuff that you cannot sell because they run out of gold after about two transactions.
Also, effing dragons, mate. |
I'm afraid to let Lydia go anywhere with me. D8 If she dies, is she dead for good? Or is it like Fallout New Vegas where they just pass out and wake up after the battle?
And I have totally lucked out so far with dragons... the first one outside of the story that showed up was literally right where the first story one showed up and I hid in the tower shooting arrows at it while most of the other troop people there kicked it's butt. xP |
