@Roachi: I am fine, just tired lol. As for new, hmmm...I finished cutting/glueing the sword and dagger I plan on giving to my friend I guess lol. (I'll need to sand it once everything is solid)

@Serra: Lol! I replaced it with a single tail, though...I can put it back on lol.

How much work goes into making a wood weapon anyways?

And it really depends, you first need to find a good reference of the sword, then either manually draw it or if you're lucky print it in the correct size. Then you use your paper and cut the design out, then draw it out on wood. That part, perhaps 2 hours...

Then you cut the wood, so perhaps 10-15 minutes, then you glue the handle part over the complete sword (since you need to cut the handle two other times to make it bigger), so perhaps 5 minutes, then you wait a day to be sure...

Then sanding depends, it can be 15 minutes to only sand the blade to hours if you want some detail sanding...and you can also add other parts in craftfoam/paperclay etc...So perhaps, overall, 10-15 hours, sometimes more...plus drying time...
