I mostly bake cookies. Perhaps they are easier.

cakes have more potential to go wrong, i think. A mistake in a cookie recipe can often produce good results xD

Yup. Cookies handle a little more abuse.

I have joined all of those sites over the years, but Zan, and recently Tris, are the only sites I use.

I wouldn't say i have a best. It's more simple >complex, bad>good XD Multiple sites is a little to much for me these days, since I don't actually get online as much as i would like. |
But, Simple is good for basics which everyone needs. And sometimes the simplest combinations are amazing. *-*
Trisphee is where I prefer to post, although you still hardly see me here, except for a few choice places. |
I can give you a good simple chocolate sponge, and icing to go with? xD Though all the measurements are in Ounces, the american cups and spoons

Sponge?! That'd be fun. I've never been a fan of sponge but I've never had a good one either. Ounces are just fine with me. I'm used to looking up measurements online with random recipes I try, although I am American.

I don't have a digital version of it anywhere, so i'd have to get back to you at another point. it's nearly 3am, which isn't really the time for rooting around in the kitchen XD
