Antimony bared xet teeth at him. "It means 'ass mucous', an' that's what you are!"
"I fight you!" said Burt taking a swing, only to be caught mid-punch by Bert. Bert hefted him by his collar and threw him into the ocean with a growl.
"You'll stay there if you know what's good for ya!" called Antimony, kicking sand in Burt's general direction.
Burt sputtered and flopped, "I can't swim!"
"Good!" Antimony pulled a face at him.
Bert put an arm around him, "Come on, let's empty this bucket and get back to fishing,"
Antimony nodded and walked along with him, throwing a glance back at Burt to see that he stayed where he was.
Burt eventually floated to the shore in a tangle of sea weed.
Antimony kicked more sand at him as they passed by with the new bucket.
"Hey Antimony, there's something I gotta talk to you about," said Bert.
Antimony looked at him. "What?"
"Well, you know next semester is coming up and the next boxing events are going to be in Barcelona, the boxing team is going to be required to study in Spain for three months," said Bert.
"That's a long time," said Antimony.
Bert threaded his fingers through Antimony's, "Yeah, I know...you know, if you want me to stay, I will."
Antimony shook xet head. "Nuh-uh, you go," xe replied. "Jus' make sure you send me letters!"
Bert gave xet a kiss, "Of course I will!"
Antimony kissed him back, winding xet arms tightly around him.
Bert gave xet a nuzzle, "I love you,"
"I love you, too," said Antimony, licking him on the nose.

Kurt arrived at Randy VIII's house dressed in unusually light clothing (for Kurt Kraus) a pair of slightly worn black cargo pants and a white sleeveless shirt were not standard for Kenny's resident police chief and he looked quite modern for once. |
Randy opened the door and whistled at him. "Come on in, sug'; it's gonna be a minute," he said as he gestured for Kurt to enter the house. "I got three offspring to finish dressin' an' packin' for."
"If we're going to get fishing for the clambake we need to hurry," grumbled Kurt as she stepped inside.
"I got a coupla' progress inhibitors workin' against me." Randy held up a giggling baby that was attempting to undress and run away from him. "You can help, though; run upstairs an' get me my shades offa my desk, will ya?"
Kurt nodded and rushed up the stairs, while he searched for Randy's sunglasses he found something else...a letter for Randy VII.
Though not necessarily intended for anyone else to view, the letter was lying face-up on the desk and had yet to be folded. The very first line, in neat black print, was "I have loved Kurt Kraus for a long time."
Seeing his name Kurt picked up the letter and read it, by the end he was smiling, at this point nothing in the letter was news but somehow it was nice to see Randy's feelings written out, gently he set the paper back down, being very careful not to crinkle a single corner.
Just then, Randy VIII came charging up the stairs. "Forgot I left my smokes up here, too; you find them shades?" he called on his way into the room.
Kurt nodded, "Yes, I found your sunglasses....and that letter," he said softly.
Randy froze. "Oh... Yeah, well... Seven was askin' questions," he muttered.
Kurt smiled, said nothing then walked over to Randy VIII, he took Randy's face in his hands and gave him a deep kiss.
Randy returned the kiss and smiled back at him, his cheeks tinted green. "It's about as sappy as I get, ain't it?"
Kurt rubbed noses with him, "Yes...and I'm glad to have found that letter,"
"It ain't nothin' you didn't already know, is it?" asked Randy.
Kurt shook his head and gave Randy another kiss.
Randy kissed him back and grinned, wrapping his arms about him. "Then you just as sappy as I am."
"I think I may well be," said Kurt hugging him close.
Randy laughed and gave him a squeeze and a pat on the shoulder. "Well, c'mon, sug'. Them babies'll stay dressed for about eight more seconds."
Kurt chuckled, "Don't you just love them at that age?"
"'Specially when they start throwin' food at each other at dinner," grumbled Randy, shaking his head as he pocketed his cigarettes and put on his shades.
"Oh, you'll miss is when they get all grown up," said Kurt.
