i've only been to Orlando a few times - my aunt and uncle live in Winter Park, so when we went in the 80s to my cousins' bar mitzvahs, we ended up in orlando (the first time we also went to disney world). for our honeymoon, hubby and i went to disney world (so orlando again). and about 11 years ago or so, the job where i was working, one of our clients was in Lake Mary, so i went down for like 2 days to some training (so orlando... ish.)

i went as a kid for rocket launches since my grandpa very loosely worked with nasa. (he ran a planetarium that had been paid for by nasa)

We went innnn 1994? for the mars rover and to another one in the early 2000s that I can't remember what it was.

Well, I suppose I live closer to Winter Park than Orlando...but my address says "Orlando, FL" since I don't live in a city at all, just in Orange County.

i'm pretty sure my aunt and uncle live in Winter Park. i know Fern Park is also near by, and i'd get them mixed up. There's also Maitland near by. and a few of the years my grandparents went down for a few months, they rented in an apartment in Altamonte Springs. (pretty sure i spelled that right....) and they're all around Orlando or thereabouts.

Yeah, those are all Orlando area. :)

...Though, I had to google Fern Park. I live further south than that, though I did work in Maitland for a while, and that's next to Fern Park.

for me, i live in the philadelphia area... and that extends in to new jersey. heh. but i live and work only in PA. and i go through three named little towns on my way to work mon-thurs. heh. (well, i start in one, go through one, and work in the third.)

Haha, yup, big cities are like that...

although, i try not to go into the city if i can help it. but Northeast Philly isn't so bad.

saturday my younger daughter and i are going to a Harry Potter Festival, it's in Chestnut Hill, but it's right on the outskirts of philly. so that i can do.
