Both. Mostly from work.

-Yawns and hugs back.-

I wish you had a less draining job Liosh :/ I've done "bad retail" before but your job is worse than any I've had ><

Lioshika 08-23-2011 11:35 PM

-Nods- Thankies. I wish I had a better job too. If I hear Melina bitch one more time how she doesn't have a clue what to do with her life I will bitch slap her. She wants to be an actress and she was talking with our manager looking for pity and she ended up not doing a lot on register.

Serra Britt 08-23-2011 11:41 PM

Meanwhile leaving you to deal with all the ignorant customers I assume -.-;

Lioshika 08-23-2011 11:49 PM

Of course. All of the ignorant ones. I had one, she came up with the notebooks that were a penny when you spend 5 before tax. I told her that you had to spend 5 before tax in order to get the sale. She picks up an ad and says "it's 25 cents regardless" I pointed to the print below it saying "With five dollar purchase before tax." She threw them on the counter and was saying with a bad attitude "I don't want them then". I turned to move them and mumbled "Ya don't have to be a bitch about it" and a coworker looked at me like I dropped the c word. XD
But it's like that almost every transaction.

Serra Britt 08-23-2011 11:54 PM

I don't understand people. I mean, just because you're buying something at a store doesn't give you the license to treat employees like slaves.

Lioshika 08-23-2011 11:58 PM

Mhm. I usually am nice to people when I go in a store. Unless the specific person gives me attitude. But I get treated like I'm a damn slave.

Serra Britt 08-24-2011 12:04 AM

By both the managers and the customers it appears :( -hugs tightly-

Lioshika 08-24-2011 12:11 AM

-Hugs back.- Yeah.

T___T I'm kind of at the point of "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer".

Serra Britt 08-24-2011 12:17 AM

If only you had the management on your side you could probably get away with that a few times :/ Poor Liosh. At least you can vent here without people yelling at you.

Lioshika 08-24-2011 12:19 AM

lol yes. And I am thankful for that.
^___^ Because I'm at about the end of my rope for patience. Not that it was very long to start with, but it's growing shorter.

Serra Britt 08-24-2011 12:22 AM

With all the crap they are pulling? I'm not surprised. I remember when I worked for Best Buy and I asked for time off 3 months in advance, and they changed their minds 2 weeks before it, so they weren't going to give me the time off :/

Lioshika 08-24-2011 12:24 AM

Well I'll cross Best Buy off my list.
Hmm. -Thinks.- Wonder where else I should try.

Serra Britt 08-24-2011 12:29 AM

Well, for retail I hear that grocery stores aren't too bad. I haven't ever worked in one though...

Book stores are usually great except the for the "I will spend my entire paycheck in the store" problem... :p

Lioshika 08-24-2011 12:35 AM

Ours sadly are crappy to work for, unless it's Wegman's.

And book stores. I would love to work in one. I'd have to have strong control to not spend it all there.

Serra Britt 08-24-2011 12:38 AM

I know I turned around and spent a lot at the one I worked for >.> But it was an impressive employee discount...it was hard to ignore.
