300 snowflakes. I gotta pull up my PJs, seriously.

I use most of my snowflakes to get items to use in the exchange instead of buying sets. Because well i didnt get anything new when i exchanged items i bought from the thread shop for two days so for now i exchange event items and i seem to get Halloween items.

430 snowflakes, I don't really know if I want to get more event stuff though.

I'm getting lots of Halloween stuffs also, especially prayer vessels. When I get prayer vessels I just throw them right back XD

That's an idea. The recent Halloween event was my first event on Tris. So I missed all previous events. So the exchange would be a good way to get the stuff I missed.

However wasn't it only around the recent Halloween event that they added event items to the exchange? So that mightn't work and I'd get only the last Halloween's items? idk

I've just got two more items to get, then I'll have my goal of one of every item... and if I can, I'll try and get a few bundles to gift to newbies like I have with the Jack-o-Loot items. :)

That's a sweet idea actually, event item sets make for good newbie packs!

Yeah item packs are great, whole outfits that are matched already. No need to think about what to use too much.

hard part'll be posting enough to get anywhere close to what I had available for the Jack-o-Loots. I had 13-15 of those, IIRC, and I gave most of them away.

Is it just me or are we receiving more snowflakes than before?

Well it seems a bit higher yes but not all that much?
Maybe 4 more per post on average? i dunno perhaps even more than that
I do know that even with the little activity there has been since the 23rd i am still getting 750+ snowflakes a day.

You might notice the event announcement got another post: Snowflake rates have indeed gone up. :)

Well im not good at noticing things but the ones who are behind on collecting probably post all that much so the difference in rates probably won't make them complete their collections, well i probably can give those people my extra snowflakes by then.

This is good news for me! I need 800 more snowflakes to get myself another snowman set.

Why do you need two snowman sets?

Why not? I can either sell it later, give it away to some newbie, or make myself a snowman army.
