Eh, it wouldn't do much for him at the moment. Would vaporize anything edible and poison what wasn't destroyed in the initial blast. He has an inkling though, of something he might want. Just depends on if a Transmitter is powerful enough to open the door (or gates) to it.

You would think that it is weird that Michael would be picked up for psychic potential in an adoption center and then have less than a scratch of psychic on him, other than the block, and now the shield.
His parents had to implant this in him because of his psychic potential and taught him nothing else to prevent escape from the terrible process to make him part of what he is, a collection of all the memories, but not experience, gained by the children of Jez'ebel.
This will probably explain most of the post, and I understand that this is borderline godmode with what this can be used for, which is why I made it memories, not experience, although that theory can probably be made into reality through more painful testing by Jez'ebel herself, if I may.
However, Michael went through a painful process just to get to the memory-stage of the process and after he was presented to Jez'ebel, he fled, promising to end the tyranny he was put through. Ergo, he will not be putting any of the memories to use, in attempt to live his own life and by free from worldly affairs.

And that's pretty much it. Sorry for not making it clear, earlier. i just couldn't really think out the details through and through.

Oh, well, that's interesting. I didn't quite get that from your posts so far, though there was a hint of something like that going on.

I will just mention that I'm not sure that the collected experience of Jez'ebel's children would be worth all that much even if Michael had it. For one thing, they were all killed during the Calamity, and as such had little to no experience with psychosis. Not to mention, Jez'ebel only rose to power during the End Times; before that she was living in near poverty. And do keep in that, most of them were just that: children. She's never really gotten over their deaths.

hmmm well that sours the idea. I originally wanted to make it so he had all of the experience of the city of babylon, but I thought that would godmoding. now that I realize that they were just children (I assume that you mean the prepubescent kind) it makes me the concept mismatch the visions.

I mean, she's not that old now, probably mid 60s. I doubt she had many, if any, adult children pre-apocalypse.

Though, it's not out of the question that she's given birth to or adopted more since, it's just kind of out of character for her, given how devastated she was by their deaths.

Dolly, I was just thinking of that earlier actually, and... I think so, but they'd be very rare. Most either killed themselves along with God or live in the wreckage of Empyrean trying to somehow put things back together. They likely trust the Saints to represent Heaven on earth.

The funny thing was I had checked the name before for the other post, and left it out on purpose because I wasn't sure it was common enough to know the name directly.

For the record, those swords Typasius had are outside the city somewhere, if anyone wants to go looking. Even if Jeanne doesn't want one or both, they're insanely valuable.

Okay, I'm going to throw a few things out here, in the interest of giving Lev more of a story to give a damn about. Poke holes in it, and let me know what is wrong and what I should work on.

A) When Lev was dying on the cross, a demon took possession of his body. For whatever reason (or if you can find a viable one buried somewhere in my copy of Demonomics 101), Lev has been able to maintain both his life and control...partially. Certain triggers allow the demon to take control, such as blood, serious wounds to Lev, or extreme stress (Combat highs and such). Would help to explain a few things, like shrugging off wounds.

B) A bit more far-fetched. Let's say Lev is a clone, of someone long gone. Doesn't matter who, but let's go with the bible-thumping argument that clones don't have souls. So when he was dying, the demon attempted to possess him, only discovering there was no soul to take. So, its pretty much trapped. Same abilities to take control of the physical body under certain circumstances, but gives Lev some sort of internal conflict once he discovers he's just a body walking.

C) He's the actual lions of Tsabo reincarnate, stealing the body of an unborn before it came in to the world so he could wreak havoc once again. It's very strong, but has more base desires and doesn't exactly exude demonic strength, just physical of whatever it possesses. Less flimsy than B.

Anyway, I'd like one to play off of. Now that he might stick around, I want to explore his past. Cliche and self-centered, but I want to have fun with it.

EDIT: I have to work the midnight tonight for NCAA Football 2012: Twenty Years of the Same Shit, so I won't be able to really post until 1:00AM Central.

Hmm... those are all cool. I think 1 is the most logical and "safest" if you will. I do really like two, though, and think it's slightly more interesting. But three is something unexpected, which is also appealing.

Up to you, but I think I think one is the most likely, given what's gone on in the setting.

Oh, he's definitely damaged. He knows perfect English, and a few others. But his mental health is constantly in jeopardy, suggestions are always being whispered in to his ear, and the entire effect has made it difficult to even communicate with people. His emotions can swing wildly from intense rage to emotional detachment altogether. He's prone to wildly violent outbursts in tense situations. Next fight I'm planning on the very interesting removal of someone's jaw. Lev also has memory problems, so sometimes he knows that something is inside of him, and sometimes he has no clue. He's tried to off himself a few times, but it always puts him back together. Eventually he will realize that he can fatally wound himself to bring the thing out, which would be great for desperate combat situations (Although he might attack indiscriminately). I have the demon's name figured out, but as I understand it, people knowing your true name is a bit dangerous 'round these parts.

Or even that the possession did that psychological damage. That could be accurate too.

Sheol. New Idea: What if Michael's parents made him capable of absorbing and manifesting the experiences gained by another person. It would make perfect sense to go after Michael, so that he can continue to act as the reigning Sybyl after Jez'ebel died.

About Michael's parents: They work for Jez'ebel and are powerful psychics. They have their pride and their orders. They, like most of the cult, wish to be within Jez'ebel's favor, if not for grace then for power. They are humans, and are very weak, using their Telekinetic capabilities to replace their lack of muscle. However, they won't use their abilities to evoke insanity. They'll only use that to try to persuade people like they did with Michael or try to hide themselves from plain sight, like with the disappearing cloaks. Their weakness is their physical strength in coalition with their awareness. If they don't see it coming they can't block it telekenetically and one hit is enough to take them down.

Dolly, Salone, maybe the two of you can run into these pursuers? Rue ought to be able to counter their powers and let Lev fill 'em with holes.

The soldiers are probably mobilizing to deal with this attack, so... the armory might actually get really crowded in short order.
