I would too. Thought not all high laptops are always better. My friends is alot like yours, derpy and heats up and all that and his was over 1000. Mine was only like 700. I've had mine for years whereas he has had his that long and mine still has some more perks that his doesn't. Like super awesome wifi.

mine was a 16th birthday gift... with the store warrenty the price was 1300... so its only been 3 years and last year i upgraded it to windows 7 bc it had vista

i got 7 on my desktop (500 with a monitor, keyboard, and speakers... + 300 for a powersupply and a new graphic card and i had vista on it) runs like a beast and its about 5 years old

and i have 7 on lappy... both copies of 7 i got for free from a computer networking class... the teacher said he had 30 free licenses so i too advantage of that and asked him for 2 copies

I'm not going to update mine. Just get a new one. Then maybe update that one if need be.

i only updated it bc vista was really slow for me... and now with 7 it hardly uses up any cpu (only 7%)

I'm just not a fan of vista.

LUCKY! i have vista and my boyfriend has 7 i want it sooo badly! i bet it would be much better for my 8 year old laptop!

Looks like we all need some updateing. Either updated software or whole new laptops xD

oh i wish i could get a new laptop but i have other things to save up for... like a game cube the things are only 30 dollars!
