I have yet to watch more of the new series, but I always wondered that about the old anime. ^^;

Ah Chibi-Usa was that stupid in the manga too.. i always pegged it from being a little girl.. but then again.. little kids go up to people who resemble their parents and call them 'mom/dad' so.. we shall chalk it up to her being incredibly stupid for someone who gets good grades >.>,

that or Usagi acts totally different than her future self so it's hard for Chibi-Usa to connect the dots.. and why she clings to Mamoru so much.. o3o i heard becoming a parent can change you forever.

Usagi probably acts more immature than her future self, so maybe that's why? And for future Mamoru I've only seen him dressed like Texudo Mask in the future from the old series. ^^;

I think in the manga he looks more like his Past Life self "prince Endymion" but with a mask... I'd need to look and see.. I forget... o3o

I loved the original anime's reaction to them finding out that Chibi-Usa is their kid. x'D the blushing.. it's like Usagi's thinking "OMG I do ^*#$ with Mamo-chan.. his &%*& in my (^%& and makes Chibi-Usa?!"
