And while I hope no one was badly injured, I'm still not happy. My halloween was ruined by that, and my family had to buy a new router and modem as well... while we are already sturggling to pay all the bills.

Eugh Time Warner is trying to pull some shifty crap on us about the router/modem. We have a netgear router, and they keep fucking with our connection and then when we call, they tell us to buy THEIR router and modem which is a crap ton of money on top of the, what $170 monthly bill for their mafia-like service. ( because they call every day for two weeks BEFORE the bill is due. e___e )
I'm surprised our power didn't go out when the storms came through on halloween. There's people who still don't have power over here; usually we're the first ones it knocks out xD |

Oh gawd no, in my area, they're worse than Time Warner, and up to twice the price. @__@; Plus they barely cover this area since they just recently move over here. We have Time Warner or AT&T to choose from, really.
Once we get caught up on the TW bill, we're switching to just highspeed internet which is cheap, instead of cable + mid-speed internet. Especially since the cable likes to freeze and glitch all the time x__x It's not worth it lol. |
Why bother with Cable? Hulu is free and you can watch everything on there.

My parents pay for the bills, so. We don't need cable, but we're locked into having it until a certain time/when we catch up on the bill. So we can't drop it yet. x__x |
